Place has sentimental value as was married there 11 years ago. Hotel very tired and in need of refresh

Bathroom dated however clean was supposed to be superior room

Good gym, pool and sauna and the room was very spacious. Nice feel to the hotel and the staff were great.

Nothing really not to like… maybe the menu was a bit limited.

It’s a nice old Hotel in a nice place

The room was a bit dated,cobwebs,cracks and Tv not working properly but it was clean and tidy

Only had dinner Food was brilliant couldn’t fault it

Old wooden window frames Could seriously do with replacing

Eating in was a bit weird, place was empty but staff had to ask the chef if it was fine for him to cook for us and once we finished our meal, we couldn’t pay at the table, we had to pay at the bar round the corner from the restaurant and they didn’t have a clue what we ordered and couldn’t find it, which took about 5 mins.

Staff were friendly and helpful Leisure centre was clean,

Single use plastic cups were in the room for tea and coffee, not good, felt the hot water was going to melt the cups, could not hold them, burnt fingers, and spilt drink. No complimentary shampoo , conditioner, or soap for the sink. Key card took ages to work, Chair in bedroom was broken, told they were waiting for new ones to arrive. Menu was limited, only had one vegetarian option.

Swimming and sauna was brilliant room was just perfect so comfy and clean staff where amazing 🤩
