Once I showed the conversation to Bob reminding him of discussion of number of guests he was very apologetic and friendly showing us around the flat and giving hints/tips about where to go
Location was perfect, just off Shaftesbury Ave and 2 steps from everywhere
Flat itself has a lovely layout, was light spacious and comfortable.
All appliances in good working order and clean
Excellent (if pricy) Italian restaurant downstairs and bars at the end of the street, (this also meant it was quite noisy at night but not unbearably and we weren't bothered by it)
V helpful that there were lots of leaflets in flat with activity ideas along with a clear information document setting out important emergency info as well as house rules and tourist info.
Overall standard of the property and customer service was good but...
Bob had forgotten details of discussions in app (namely that we had agreed there would be 4 of us and not 3) and there was an awkward moment on the doorstep when I had to remind him by showing him the conversation whilst family and luggage stood waiting to see if he would let us in. Its right to say there were a number of changes discussed but until I showed the conversation would not accept we had discussed this change. All cleared up in the end, but this 1st impression coloured the rest of the stay a bit. I gather it may make no difference as they are moving to long lets in future but that was my experience and as noted below apart from this customer service was good.
Toilet brush in ensuite was not clean and there were no toilet cleaning products in the flat
Bedding was stained, although to be fair it smelled clean/laundered

The property is situated in the best part of Soho to see all the attractions. Just a street away from Old Crompton Street. Only a minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square & China Town, with Oxford Street, Covent Garden & Trafalgar Square being a pleasant 5 minutes walk away through lovely vibrant streets
At 5pm in Soho every day most of the roads were closed down making it pedestrianised which enabled all the bars and restaurants to put out tables and chairs. There were so many restaurants to choose from and the atmosphere was fantastic.
We were met promptly by Bob who showed us around the apartment, he gave us useful information of where to buy groceries etc. He was very pleasant and said we could contact him if we had any issues during our stay.
The apartment was way more spacious than the pictures show. The living area is massive and the bedrooms and bathrooms spacious too. We visited during a heat wave - 34 degrees each day! The host provided electric fans which were very welcome and very well used. The lounge had plenty of seating with an exceptionally comfy sofa, ideal for watching Netflix which was provided. Wifi is also provided which I don't think it mentions in the listing.
All beds were comfy and there was plenty of wardrobe space.
I had two 17 year olds with me on their first visit to London, within an afternoon they had orientated themselves and were off visiting Oxford Street, Piccadilly and Covent Gardens. Its very easy to find your way back to the apartment after a day being a tourist!
We all felt very safe both in the apartment and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend and we will most certainly be back
