Great location

Quite old fashioned, curtains in bathroom

The hotel location was ideal with easy access to the sea front via the lift tram around the corner and a short walk from various places to eat in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The breakfast was also delicious! :-)

It would have been nice to have a bottle of water each rather than one small bottle to share. Note: there is a shop a short walk away to get more water or other supplies if required. Finding a parking space was a bit of a challenge, but there are plenty of options available as advised in the property details.

Excellent location for exploring Scarborough, close to Victorian funicular railway to take you to and from the beach, and a stone's throw from the main shopping area. Excellent breakfast. Would stay again if in Scarborough.

Ear plugs are provided to fend off the noise of the seagulls, but we only found them noisy during the day - no problem getting to sleep at night.

The landlady was very nice. We got a room upgrade on arrival which was a lovely surprise.

Good service thoughtful staff, location ideal. Quiet late evening.

Old style lift doors mum couldn't pull them shut. I managed fine but others may struggle.

Customers rowing through the night I did tell the man on the desk he said he had not heard the rows (goodness knows how he did n't) it went on through the Saturday night he barely apologised when I mentioned it the next morning not really interested Also plumbing/sewerage problem foul smelling bathroom
