Comfortable and well laid out facilities.

Our room and shared areas were very clean and tidy inside and out. Well worth the affordable price.

Bed uncomfortable but I understand it's difficult to cater to everyone's preference when it comes to bed comfort.

I was really impressed by how good value for money this place is! Excellent location, right by the beach and near restaurants, the property is quite big with all the necessities you could need. The staff is nice and helpful, and everything is super clean. My friend and I even had the dorm to ourselves for the entire stay! I strongly recommend, if you're on a budget this place is amazing.

Unfortunately, the rooms aren't well isolated, therefore it can get a bit irritating if you have noisy neighbors.

The location was very good and the facilities were clean. Also i met some cool people.

The wifi isnt that strong sometimes i had to turn on cellulars to watch something, especially in the evening

Cruizy, clean and tidy

Thin walls, inconsiderate neighbors up all night in big groups laughing etc. I had to tell them to shut up. I think if they weren't there I would've rated higher for sure.

after hour - no staff to control the noise. We could not sleep with shouting laughing and talking to 4am ! As the property is old, according to the manager some rooms are undergoing maintenance. Unfortunately we were given a room with a faulty bathroom door which came crushing down on my head, I suffered a very bad bruise which lasted for weeks!. Felt we should been informed so that we can be aware. No staff TO CONTROL NOISES IS DEFINITELY A NO NO.

Friendly staff, spacious room, good facilities in kitchen. Nice communal areas. Bit of a quirky feel. A very short walk from the beach. Pretty close to the centre.

It was strange effectively having a glass wall into your room which everyone walked past. Nice to let the light in but you had to keep the curtains closed if you didn't want people seeing in all the time. Some net curtains would be nice to stop people being able to see in whilst still being able to see out.

- Great location, only down the road from the beach and main shopping area - Fantastic common areas. Loved the lounges upstairs and down. The kitchen isn’t very big, but it has everything you need and wasn’t too busy - Beds we’re comfy and linen clean - Man in reception was very helpful and extended my stay by moving a few things around - Bathroom was pretty clean - there’s only one, but I didn’t have to wait at any point

- I stayed in 2 different rooms. The female dorm had a sofa and large lockers, but not fan. The mixed dorm had a fab, but no lockers. The facilities are not fairly shared between rooms - No plug sockets by bed. I’m both rooms, there was one socket with an extension lead, but as everyone uses large plus adapters, only 2 or 3 sockets could be used at a time - not enough for 6 people. This is a basic requirement and should be fixed asap - The Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable. It was great during the day when everyone was out, but 9-11pm, it wouldn’t work at all

Electrical outlets.

The location was perfect. Just a 5 min. walk to the beach and a 10 min wark to the i-side and the boat landing stage. The rooms were clean and you even get a towel. The kitchen were well eguipped, facilities were clean.

Just a little think. Only a dryer in the bathroom. It would be nice to had some at least some paper towels for drying the hands.

The location in Paihia is perfect and ideal for walking around the city and even taking the passenger ferry to Russell. The place could use an update on the kitchen items (cutlery, glassess, cups) The spaces to eat are lovely either outside or in. Beds were comfy enough and shower and toilet decent. My friends and I do love to stay here as it is a great value for money stay. The staff are nice and helpful (we didnt interact much with them this time)

Some old things like the kitchen items could be renewed. Anti-slip carpets in the showers would be great.

Couldn’t connect to Internet at all. Expensive Food that was labelled and in the kitchen fridge was thrown out during our stay. Shower in upstairs unit was almost useless.

Good location and decently sized room. Great communication from the staff. Big communal area downstairs both inside and out. A friendly vibe about the place.
