Location was amazing!

Bed could have been comfier

Excellent location for Keswick centre, Derwentwater Lake, Museum, Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trail. The owners were amiable and welcoming and allowed us to do an early check-in. No breakfast was provided however there were tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. Would definitely stay there again.

We were located on the top floor and had limited or almost no Wi-Fi access. The room was a little small. It was a bit uncomfortable to experience long noise coming from the ventilation system when the lights in the bathroom were turned on.

Very helpful staff, the location is excellent close to Keswick's shopping streets as well to a wonderful park nearby. The B&B as well as the surroundings are very pet friendly.

The shower room might feel slightly small for a large bodied person, and there is no breakfast options at the premises. However, neither of these things was an issue for me and there are plentiful of diners and restaurants on your doorstep as well as the option to ask the B&B for a minifridge and have your own brought breakfast in the room.

Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Bed linen was clean.

Room very small. Toilet and shower room VERY small. Wall by toilet behind sliding door dirty. Towel rail coming away from wall. Washbasin separate to toilet, in bedroom. Had to request toiletries. Owner's dog barked during night. Carpet on top step of first flight of stairs loose and dangerous, with just a small note on wall at the side of it saying contractors will be coming to sort it out! We had the feeling we were in the way in this house - only communication with owners was to be given the key to our room, then to hand it back at the end of our stay, when the owner didn't even ask if we had enjoyed our stay. No breakfast provided.

It's two minutes' walk to the centre of town; about 15 to the lake. Very amenable proprietress.

Parking not easy in summer. WiFi a bit dodgy. No breakfast on offer.

Room a little small

Excellent location. Staff friendly. Freshly decorated and clean. Nice to have tea/coffee/water and kettle.

Very small room, difficult to manoeuvre and get to bags. No free surfaces aside from shared bedside table. Room next door had very loud pump or macerator on the toilet. This woke us up a number of times in the night when the toilet was used. Unfortunately the room layout didn’t help as our bed heads were nearest to the end of the room where the toilet is in the next door room.
