We loved how peaceful the setting was it was perfect for us and our dogs. So cosy and loved the log burner. The hosts were amazing and on hand if you ever needed anything.

We had a difficult journey due to a flat tyre so it was lovely to go into the snug and have a fire going in the woodburner, very welcoming. Our dog was immediately comfortable and there was space to walk him. Space much bigger than expected.

Good location as a base for Yorkshire sightseeing. Well connected yet far enough from the A19 to be peaceful. Easy to find and to park our motorcycles. Friendly and helpful hosts, and the dogs on site were very well behaved. Accomodation had all we needed, including plenty of storage, good sized kitchen, pleasant outdoor seating areas and comfy sofa. All clean and tidy.

Please note that this review is not for The Snug. Due to unforeseen circumstances the hosts moved us into one of their disability friendly bungalows on the farm. This was spacious and well designed for wheelchair users. There are 3 bungalows of this nature and all have plenty of garden area around them, we were very impressed with the thought that has gone into this. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and have very high standards for Covid measures.
