The room is just like in the photos, clean and romantic. Marcello is an amazing host and everything worked out great. You have to try the restaurant the host recommends it’s great too.

Location. a bedroom in an apartment building can hardly be called villa. breakfast was very poor and was served in a coffeeshop in the next building. there were no blankets on the bed. sleeping just under a sheet was too cold.

Breakfast at the corner cafe was wonderful, and the staff there were so gracious and welcoming

The “private bath” was outside the bedroom and across the hall. We knew there was no AC when we booked, and unfortunately it was very hot and uncomfortable while we were there. Also, we were told after we checked in, and we’re not prepared to pay cash- did not accept credit cards. Was a hassle to get enough Euros for 5 nights

I don’t know where to start, This was not a B&B villa. it was an old bedroom with bathroom on the second floor in somebodies apartment in an apartment building. Our host was absent, and his assistant didn’t speak English. No instructionS for TV and very sporadic I ferner. Breakfast was not on premises but a block away in a bar. We did not even go there for the praises croissant.

If you read Villa Olmo you would expect a house but it’s a room in an apartment building. There was no airconditioning so the room was very hot and even with the windows wide open we could not sleep.

Breakfast was without choice ( every morning croassant and tea or coffee) but authentic local Italian place.

Location was in an apartement in a condominium, not easy to find at first sight. We had a private parking for 10 €. The rooms and bathrooms were big. The lady was very kind and she was speaking english.

The breakfast consist of a cafe and croissant. Not enough for me.

Nice stay in an efficient room with shower box included, great service! The staff is friendly and flexible with the check in, even at late night, as well as with the check out early in the morning. I will consider this option again for sure!

Firts time in Como and what a great welcome i had by Marcello :) The room was very clean and tidy.Balcony was really good too. Worth to mention Marcello who was exceptional with everything that i needed to feel comfortable.Breakfasts are included and i did enjoy it.The staff also made sure to send me my stuff that i in rush left in the hotel when leaving Como. Great value for money and i honestly recomend it to everyone. I amdefienietely coming back this summer. Thank you B&B Olmo

Difficult to find location, not well marked. Strange host. Room very old, with bad smell, no place for luggage. Closet doors locked. The bathroom was not private as you had to walk across a hallway with another door that was open/sliding to use it. Water in shower was scalding or very cold. Felt so uncomfortable here, was not able to sleep at all. host concerned with wanting a 10 star review for very sub par B&B. Payment taken in cash when credit card should’ve been accepted.

It’s hard to describe this place, except to say it took us by surprise. It is in a superb location within a very short walk of the lakeside promenade. A 20 minute walk past magnificent villas, yacht, sea-plane and rowing clubs and beyond the stark war memorial gets you to the main area for cafes and restaurants and the funicular railway. The host, Marcello, was excellent. The accommodation was ample and consisted of a large bedroom with a little table to eat breakfast, a small hallway and a private shower room. It was decorated in an extremely idiosyncratic style (imagine your grandmother had gone on a spending spree in the second-hand store) which made it rather charming. We would definitely use it again.

It was very hard to find, but only because we were looking for something other than what it was! The map pin was totally accurate but because we were looking for a traditional B&B we thought we were lost. This is actually a room in a residential apartment block up a tiny road, which confused us for a while. We called Marcello and he guided us to the right place. You need to pay cash so be prepared.
