Great farm country location. Property was clean and well kept and cottage was quiet.

While cozy, the little cottage a little cramped for space. However it has all the basics for your stay. Eating at the restaurant is adequate but expensive.

The location is very pleasant and the view from the cottage was very nice. The site offers an onsite restaurant serving good food at fair price.

The cottage was very small. We had to leave part of the luggage in the car due to the lack of available space. No kitchen was available in our cottage. The bathroom was very small, too. The cleanliness levels could be improved. We found a box with rotten food (including meat!) forgotten by the previous guests in the outdoor storage room, just beside the entry door. No one of the staff noticed the issue....

Nice to have our own little cabin placed a reasonable distance from other cottages for privacy.

It was quite worn down and badly organized: The table was right in front of the kitchenette and fridge, so the fridge couldn't be opened when the table was occupied, and only opened with difficulty without moving the table. If the table was moved to the middle of the room it took up all space and made it difficult to enter or exit the room. It is not recommended to be more than 2 people in this cabin, even though there are 4 beds - unless you literally only sleep there and don't rely on using the kitchenette.

Loved having our own individual mini-cottage with bathroom and kitchen. The layout was good--very compact, but we had enough space for our needs and it was lovely and warm. The views were lovely and we enjoyed meeting a friendly on-site cat!

Having only 50 litres of hot water at a time required some planning for showers (though it was probably a good lesson for the kids!) The beds only had a single very thin pillow, which I found insufficient.

No soap in the cottage. We had to shower only with water. No clear indication to reach the cottages. No hairdryer, no microwave.

it’s in a good location with great views of Eyjajallajokull. Good social area. The food in restaurant was superb!

The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small. Basic.

It's a beautiful beautiful place ... very nice and comfy. I was upgraded to a bigger cottage .. It was perfecttttttt ... the location, the scenery, facilities ... it has windows all around so perfect for aurora watching with family...there's a complete guide to all facilties, it was quiet, peaceful ... It was raining else I'm sure I would've seen auroras dancing!

The sheets and bedding weren't clean. They can be improved.

Poor cleaning. Even worse shower, no pressure and black mold. Worn down and old furniture. Very small for four people. The staff seemed uninterested.

Having even a sliding door to separate the bedroom from the living room would have been nicer.

Great views and a lovely sunset, but sadly that was the only great thing about this stay.

The water pipes in the bathroom dripped when the shower was in use, there was no bathmat for the floor, the cabin was a "clean it yourself" arrangement and with Covid it just didn't feel very clean. The restaurant was also closed for renovation and we were not informed of this, so had to travel back into ton to find dinner. This felt like staying at a sleep away cabin. The price was fair for what we got, but these cabins have seen some use and it was basically a place to sleep with nothing extra for comfort.
