Almost nothing

Lock on the door wasn't working. It was problematic to open it outside, and lock inside wasn't working at all, so it was really scary to sleep there. No lockers. There was stains on sheets, when we arrived beds were already made, so I have no idea how long sheets and other stuff weren't washed. There was no window in dorm at all. Toilet paper was absent in the morning and soap was absent all the time. Sink in one toilet doesn't work. All the doors creaks. Reception is located in other building, what is really uncomfortable, especially because it was raining outside. One of the guys, who works in reception doesn't speak Finnish. Highly not recomend this hostel

Friendly host

Hostel is looking old and worn out, but rather cheap as for Helsinki. For motorised tourists mostly - 11km from center but with free parking. Due to low price, guests are mostly from poorer countries, both guests and reception staff speak Russian or Ukrainian more often than English. Good for stopover in travel rather than for longer stays.

NOTHING! Everything was HORRIBLE!

The room was unbelievably filthy! We have travelled in developing countries in Africa and stayed in modest accommodations but NEVER encountered such a dirty and filthy place as "Hotel" Arkadia! Also the staff was extremely rude! Never experienced anything like it in all our travels around the world. We couldn't stay for more than 10-15 minutes in the disgusting room until my son started having an asthma attack and couldn't breathe. The staff refused to clean the room and just started insulting us and being extremely rude. Also Booking.com proved to be a huge disappointment and didn't assist us as customers at all, although we provided pictures of the state of the accommodation that they have listed on their site. Never going to use Booking.com again, as they can't be trusted to assist the customer even in a situation where the accommodation they have listed is a biohazardous zone and a health hazard. They refused to refund our booking although we were unable to stay there for health reasons due to it being so atrociously and disgustingly filthy! So be warned! Do not under any circumstance use Booking.com or book a stay at this disgusting accommodation with the rudest staff you can ever imagine.

good reception, interesting place - in the the vicinnity of the hotel it's a plenty of workshops with old cars to see :)

Good location, for bus ticket hv to go S market which is 1.2 km away, buy day pass in 11€ or single ticket 1.5€. About property all is well, comfortable

Absolutely nothing good to say about the facilities,however the parking was validated.

The facilities were unbelievable filthy and there was no hot water. The locks on the bathroom doors didn't work. No sound proofing whatsoever. Cleanish sheets, discussing pillows under the case. Under the beds have not seen a vaccuum in a while.

great place to spend a couple of nights. beds are comfortable, linens are clean. The bathroom has towels and hot water. free parking is a plus. polite receptionist who knows Russian

in such a place, you need to pay more attention to sound insulation, you can hear everything, how someone sneezed behind the wall, and so on. the second point, if you write that you have a kitchen, then please ensure that there are at least utensils there, I went there and there was one knife and emptiness, several plastic utensils. it is important that a person can heat food and cook it

the rooms are cold. Upon arrival, the heating is turned off, there is no hot water in the shower. not recommended with children.
