I recently had the pleasure of staying at Insight Resort Ahangama with my wife to celebrate our first-year anniversary, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, starting with a warm and heartfelt welcome that instantly made us feel special. The resort itself is situated in a stunning location, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Our room featured a private balcony overlooking the serene waters, providing us with the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The accommodations were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with comfortable furnishings that ensured a restful night's sleep. Overall, our anniversary getaway at Insight Resort Ahangama was nothing short of extraordinary. The warm welcome, surprise anniversary cake, breathtaking views, attentive service, and excellent amenities all contributed to an unforgettable experience. It's a 3 star property which could be a 4 star just by modifying little bit of their services. Beach front is good, interiors are good

Buffet variety, restaurant has limited menu, staff is not very prompt and courteous as what we experienced in rest of the island. However some staff are exception to this but you can't expect the same person to serve you daily

The location is amazing right on the beach, and is perfect for surfing with Marshmallows surf spot directly out front! The staff were so warm and friendly, attending to every need, we felt very welcome.

Breakfast could have had a little more variety, but the food you could order from the menu for lunch/dinner was a good standard.

The service was super helpfull, paid a lot of attention to every detail and kept everything very clean. The room had amazing facilities and views.

We were the only people staying at the resort so were very well looked after by the staff.

Power outages meant eating by candlelight only and thus unable to see mosquitos - and these were active unfortunately.
