A room next to the pool would have been nicer than the one in the main building. However, the pool was only a short walk away

location, bed quality, pretty new and in fine shape.

nothing speciel. but nice for the price. I lived in a room next to where the family lives. you could hear most things from in there and most likely also the other way around

We chose this hotel because my partner is a keen surfer, and we had heard good things about Ahangama. When we arrived our accommodation was spotless and a gorgeous room - fit with antique woodwork. We had access to a communal relaxation, garden and pool area as well as food made on request. Overall, the stay was excellent and we were sad to leave. The family were so kind and generous with us, and had a super cute dog! We will be coming back for sure! We would also recommend Ahangama for a great non-tourist spot that has good food and great beaches.

The room was sometimes noisy early in the morning.

I had the best stay here. I am travelling on my own, so i were a bit nervous, but the host and his family are just so nice and makes you feel really welcome. Anything you need they will help you with, and always with a smile. The place was even bigger than I thought and with really nice, clean and big rooms with air conditioning. The food was also really nice and you get a lot of value for your money. Would definitely recommend staying here without a doubt!!

What a lovely house, I felt comfortable immediately. You can tell the owner really has a passion for hosting guests and making them feel at home. I am looking forward to seeing you guys again, thank you for the wonderful time. The dinners were phenomenal....

The hosts are amazing and so welcoming. You feel like part of the family! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is fantastic - The scrambled eggs are the best I’ve ever tasted and there’s fresh fruit every morning! The family are so accommodating with offering us breakfast at a time that suited us, clean towels and linen whenever requested and they even had our clothes washed for us. The grounds of the property are beautiful and on several mornings we watched monkeys playing in the trees opposite the villa. Their dog is the best and we miss him a lot! Definitely stay here, you will not be disappointed! We’ll be back!

the owner and family were so nice, nothing was ever too big or too small. and everything was met with a smile. we were here during covid 19 brake out so were stuck here for some time under curfew and they just couldn't be more helpful. supplying both lunch and dinner as we couldn't get out to the shops. food was always very good.
