Beds are really comfy, quiet AC, price is good, location excellent. During our stay it was quiet during the night which was great. They have a nice co-work room (that we didn't use but looked good). 30 second walk to the beach. Easy check in.

Mosquito nets doesn't cover the bed (doesn't reach the floor), quite dirty, no towels which I think is fine for the price but then it shouldn't say it is included when you book. Breakfast was just very lame. No tea or coffee offered (not even for added price), nothing like the insta photos for sure, and staff could definitely be more helpful here. The place looks a bit forgotten with tall grass and dog poo. Can imagine it's better in high season

The staff is amazing, super friendly and making sure you have a wonderful experience. The hostel is lovely designed and has a nice structure, so you always meet and interact with other travelers. Yoga classes, events and community dinners make it easy to connect. The Co-working space is great and has an AC. The food in the restaurant is a bit pricy, but veryyy tasty. Depending on where you want to surf, the location is either perfect (Kabalana) or further down the road, but just a quick tuktuk drive away. I spent around a month at Mellow and I enjoyed every day <3

I was super happy about the communal kitchen, especially because a lot of accomodations don´t have one and if you travel longer time, it´s a biiig plus :) The equipment could be a bit richer though and a little bit nicer designed, so you actually want to spent more time cooking.

We loved our stay at Mellow, really welcoming and relaxed place with amazing food, located in from of a great beach and surf break and the restaurant food is delicious. The room had aircon and fan and a great shower with warm water. We loved it so much we actually went back there again to spend a few more days before we left the country. 100% recommend!

Stuff great, very clean, beautiful place. The owner such a great guy. Some nice food in the place if you are lazy to explore the restaurants around.

awesome location and super staff! right across the beach with an awesome garden. also the reception was helpful, they found me a taxi last minute to the airport, which was very very good, otherwise I would have missed sky flight. big hugs to the staff!

Really is the best hostel, designed for socialising and with no pretence. Couldn’t recommend this place enough especially if travelling solo

One of the best surf spots of the area is right across the street. Bathroom was really clean and fully operational. Wifi was pretty fast and stable.

Air-condition was not working properly, needed service but was ok for me, there was no reason to use it. I guess when it's hot it will be working properly.

Location is close to the beach. People who stayed there were friendly.

There was an extra bed on the floor in the 6-bed dorm. When I said I paid for a 6 bed dorm they told me it wasn't going to happen that night, they took the bed out. Manager was not welcoming and friendly (even rude) when checking in. Dorm was really dark, bit messy and very humid and hot at night (even though there was AC, didn't do much apparently). Busy hostel with lots of noise. Also hear the road when in the garden.
