El reducido espacio de la habitación 306 y aún más del baño, donde no podías siquiera sentarte en el sanitario porque te dabas con la cabeza en la pared de frente, o con la pequeña estantería que justo han colocado ahí. El desayuno había que hacerlo en un restaurante de fuera y el domingo tienes que esperar hasta las 11:30 que abren, a pesar de que te indican que es de 11 a 12 (tuvimos que esperar media hora). Los espacios comunes también son súper reducidos, no te fíes de las bonitas fotos que aparecen. Y no dejes nada de valor en la habitación, a mi me desapareció el DNI el primer día, por lo que tuve que cursar denuncia en los mossos d'esquadra, con la consiguiente pérdida de tiempo. Lo más sorprendente es que parece que no sorprendió cuando lo comenté en la recepción del hotel. Así que muy decepcionante el hotel Ginebra.

Old plumbing made for quirky toilet, voices from hallway seemed to be amplified, and we couldn’t figure out air conditioner (but we didn’t ask for help because we only wanted it on our last night). Some people might not like choosing between the tiny elevator and lots of marble stairs.

Отель находится в самом красивом историческом здании на площади Каталонии. Порадовало то, что в отель легко попасть, даже если персонал временно куда-то отлучился. На входе в здание днём сидит вахтёрша, и это тоже очень хорошо. Отель занимает два этажа. Нам достался номер на первом этаже. Не очень просторный для семьи с двумя детьми, но зато чистый, светлый, с шикарным видом из окна. Ванная просторная и в хорошем состоянии. В номере есть холодильник, чайник, бесплатные пакетики с чаем. Персонал отзывчивый и благожелательный. Когда мы выезжали их отеля, я плохо себя чувствовал, и девушка из России, работавшая на ресепшене, угостила нас горячим чаем и проявила внимание к детям. Мы отказались от завтрака, который отель предлагает в соседнем кафе за 8,5 евро с человека. В меню входят сэндвич, фруктовый сок, чай или кофе. Выбор небогатый, но цена для этой части города вполне приемлемая.

Best location!!! You are right at the heart and center of everything and access to transportation to go anywhere. The staff answered so many questions for me and gave wonderful advice to getting around. This is an older building with quirks of an older building but it was part of the authenticity of staying in a true older gem. I would stay here every time I traveled to Barcelona. As soon as you step out of the doors you are in the center of everything.
