breakfast was magnificent

The quadruple room (with bunk beds) was spacious for 4 adults. Complimentary amenities in the bathroom were very complete - including toothbrush and disposable razor. Breakfast was beautifully presented, extensive with all possible choices and delicious. Staff at the front desk were friendly, approachable and very helpful. A restaurant they suggested for dinner was a favorite of our entire trip. The cafe right next door also had wonderful atmosphere and delicious food.

there are rooms that face nowhere, the view from our room was substandard...window looking at a wall 2 meters away was really bad but we decided not to complain since we spent most of the days outside and the interior was decent...I can only assume that we were given this room because of our request for early check in but anyhow this room shouldn't be offered same price as some others and should be stated in the offer when booked - this way is misleading. breakfast was average in taste although it had variety..other things that were strange for this room category was there was no bathrobe, slippers so we had to ask at reception....the loft deck with the pool area is also not very useful since its between taller buildings next to a schoolyard and very small with no bar service upstairs, so again this is more for portfolio than for use. but then, when there go out and enjoy barcelona don't go to stay at the hotel...

Breakfast. It was awful. Hot food was cold. No plates to be found. No bread beside toaster. Coffee was cold. Plates were at a low height and changed location every morning. Fruit was good.

I liked the size of the room, the cleanliness and the tea/coffee facilities. Location was perfect. Receptionist (Pedro) was always kind and great at his recommendations.

I didn't like the noise coming from the school all day and also late at night. I didn't particularly like breakfast's savoury choices. I'd invest in ham and salmon. Also, I'd replace the coffee machine with a bar service.

Excellent location in the centre of Barcelona . Walking distance to metro stops and places of interest. Staff very helpful and breakfast in morning was of a very high standard

The location was excellent, and the willingness of staff is to be commended. We were attended to promptly, and effectively. The room was quiet (a big thing for us), and the room was, subject to the below, well presented and clean. The large shower rose was excellent

The room measures at around 20+ square metres, but a large proportion of this is in the bathroom area. The bedroom area, once filled with all the necessary furniture, is very cramped indeed. The locations for luggage are difficult, and the lack of room impacts every aspect of staying. I guess that is the way it is (previous design of the room) but as we age, we do appreciate the extra space of a larger room, or at least one which balances the bathroom/bedroom areas better.

Everything! clean, comfortable, beautiful design and fun combination of modern and old. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast great! Short distance to all main attractions.

Hello everyone! My name is Olivia, and I'm here to share my review of ICON BCN! The location of the hotel was SUPERB, firstly, and the best part? They had a CANDY JAR for the kids on the first floor! So we were happy to find that out and take some for ourselves (haha)~ The staff was really kind, I think his name was "Pablo", I couldn't remember, but it started with a "P", and he was really kind and humorous, and we loved his work attitude :) One of the best hotel staff ever! Keep up the good work ICON BCN! Breakfast service? It was really cool :) Really wished that they had "Hot Chocolate" in their coffee machine, though, because that's the first thing I check during a hotel breakfast service (haha I love hot chocolate)! :) The room was REALLY cool, we stayed in a family room, 004, (The Hu family, if the hotel remembers us hehe) and there was a bunk bed for the kids, and a master bed for the 2 parents to sleep in. The bathroom was kept clean at ALL times, and the shower was great as well :) Just want to say that the staff did an AMAZING job, so thank you ICON BCN! Something that could be improved was: (This was something really unenjoyable :( ) The air conditioner in our ROOM was not working for the WHOLE 3 NIGHT of our stay!! And you might say, "You could just ask the staff for help!", yes we did, but the staff just came into our room the first night when we found out the air conditioner was not working, and he said that he would call the engineer/electrician to come right away to check it. But for the whole 3 nights, NOBODY came to check on our air conditioner! We were really hot, to the extent that we had to open the WINDOWS to let the cold air in and that was too cold in fact! :( We're not happy about the fact that the AC was not working, and even angrier that NOBODY did anything about it! We hope that ICON BCN would do a better job next time we come here! Other than that, hotel was PERFECT, and we would recommend this hotel to family/friends definitely :)
