Staff were very accommodating. Rooms were clean. Very quiet. Room had everything that we needed for our stay and we didnt have to eat out at all. This motel will always be my first choice when travelling to Christchurch.

Very Comfy bed Quiet even though its near the road Amenities

I had sent a message at 10.20 am ( office is only manned 8 to 10am) to the mobile number on the answerphone asking for early check in by one hour. I did not get a reply so phoned, no reply, then the call was disconnected. I rang the other mobile number provided ( as a "last resort" it said on the main lines anwerphone) and took 2 goes to get through to Eileen, who was not super helpful. I had to suggest asking the cleaner who was on site, to let me into the room ( it was ready) . I think there should be staff on site more than a few hours in the day, or be easily contactable by phone. Eventually we were let in our rooms a bit earlier. I do realise I should have notitifed the motel between 8-10am to organise the early check in, but was not aware there would be no one on site most of the time, and the office door locked. Otherwise the room was very nice and quiet being the furtherest from the main highway.

Comfortable rooms, nicely set out

Awful treatment from staff. Thoroughly unprofessional criticism of the state of our room. We were on holiday a father and son. Granted beds not made, some water in shower area etc. But made to feel completely embarrassed by cleaning staff. We didn't do anything terrible. We are not smokers or drinkers, there was no damage to room. Yes a bit untidy but we were half way through our stay and didn't think we would have been inspected and criticized like we were. If they were understaffed or whatever excuse they make for ruining our experience, we would have rather they just left our room than made us feel like we did. We are not regular traveller's so this was a real treat for us, ruined by the staff at this motel

Great 2 bedroom apartment. Very clear and good kitchen tools. Shower excellent. Small lift to second floor.

Clean when we arrived

Unit 15 and 16 on Saturday 28th Oct, only had towel change due to people sleeping in the rooms. No rubbish was cleared or top ups of tea, coffee sugar etc and loo paper. I had to go to the office around 6pm Saturday to ask for essentials. My family members in the 70+ range were unhappy considering what we paid for. The stove top was hard to get on in room 15. Lucky only one person it worked for but when unavailable we were lost in heating food rather than eating out.

I really loved the fact they gave us the opportunity to check-in before the check-in time as we would arrive in the late evening. Very spacious room and clean.

next to the highway which was a bit noisy during the night, but great location for people who travel and looking for a place to stay. I could see the mirror wasn't cleaned properly.

Could not fault the unit for cleanliness, but the bed was not comfortable at all, very hard.

Maybe need to look at replacing mattress
