Location was excellent, top floor room was beautiful, perfect for a family

The pillows were really uncomfortable, waaaaay to high.

It was pretty disgusting and old. Just thought I would share our experience as a heads up for other families looking for somewhere to stay. We paid 330 a night on a long weekend and I just couldn’t believe the state of the apartment.

The location was great, very close to the beach and right on the esplanade. The living room was comfortable.

Be aware that this apartment complex is like a retirement village for old people. Half the apartments have retirees staying in them, so it's full of rules, cameras, and complaining people. Not suitable for families. The apartment is tiny, rooms very small and not clean. It's a very dated building in desperate need of repair. The wardrobes barely had any space in them to put things. One was locked, and they all smelled to the point you didn't want to use them. The beds were not very comfortable, and the bedside lights were brighter than the overhead light. The bedroom with two single beds was so small that you had to move the bed to open the wardrobe. The toilet was separate for the bathroom and the pipes stank. The kitchen small, oven some cheap oven from kmart that barely worked, and the TV had to be reset and reprogrammed because it wouldn't even turn on. We could also hear the neighbours tv from our living room. The pool was tiny and literally hot (about 40 degrees), and so many cameras and rules around it that it's not comfortable to be in. The underground parking has tiny spaces unless you drive a little skoda or golf. It was super hot in there and everywhere you go in the hotel you need the key, all internal doors and even the elevator, which is only one small elevator with old and annoying elevator music inside it. The manager is creepy and shows up wherever you go. He leases out the cleaning to his wife so nothing is barely cleaned, and you also have to take out your own rubbish, not move anything, and clean all the dishes before check out. The wardrobes had blankets with visible staines on them literally shoved into the cupboard, not even folded up. You wonder if they actually clean the sheets properly. The pool was shut for half our stay with no compensation offered, and it happened as we checked in. If I had been notified of this at check-in, I would have stayed somewhere else.

Unit not maintained. Screen door to unit -side strip falling off. Old lounges on balcony. Frypans were so old

Loved the room the balcony and most of all the sauna. The stay were great.
