It is a beautiful hotel. The receptionists were also kind.

We asked to make sure that everything is fine because it was our anniversary. They lied saying that the wellness works, only the pool was available. Room service costs 10 euros, but the food is hyper-overpriced. If you are French, you will be disappointed. Bigger problem: house keeping fid not clean the bathroom. There was #### on the toilet seat. We asked for a refund, they did not even answer.

It's a 4-star hotel, but it's actually 5-star luxury. It's part of a larger complex that includes a casino, a restaurant, and probably other facilities that I didn't visit. The room is super clean, quite spacious, and very quiet with a great view on a wide green area. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower and a bath tub. My baby enjoyed her private swimming pool immensely! The location is just off the highway so it's very easy to reach. I also took the car for a 6m drive to a Halal restaurant, so the city is just a few minutes of driving. The Wi-Fi was open, no password needed. This is really convenient. The breakfast was superb. Very spacious restaurant and enough variety to satisfy all tastes. It's also available till 10:30, which is unusual (usually till 9:30 or 10:00 in most hotels I've been to). All in all, I'm definitely coming back in case I come back to Hoorn.

I didn't like that check-out is at 11:00 while check-in is at 15:00. Almost all hotels that I've been to where 11:00 and 14:00 or 12:00 and 15:00. I had to pay more to stay till 13:00 instead of 11:00 (but not really much). Also, the interaction on Booking.com wasn't the best. I asked a question, and received an automated answer as a reply. So, nobody read my message and my question wasn't answered before coming. Luckily, I found what I wanted to be available.
