部屋はとても清潔で、ラウンジでの朝食、アフターヌーンティーが良かったです！スタッフも皆様親切で特にElaine Zhangに感謝致します。

ラウンジでのカクテルタイムの温かいお酒のつまみが同じレベルの他のホテルと比較をして少し少なかった点です。でも強くオススメ致します！

Ausstattung für ein Mandarin Oriental gut. Lage und Blick phänomenal.

Im Vergleich zum Mandarin Oriental in Hongkong ist hier zu merken, das hauptsächlich Gäste aus China buchen. D.h. Selbstverständlichkeiten -wie ein Zustellbett -bei Buchung von drei Personen - haben mich einen halben Tag an Diskussionen gekostet und wurden erst nach eindringlicher und vierter (!) Nachfrage erledigt. Unwürdig für diesen Unterkunftsstandard und ein Grund, hier nicht mehr zu buchen. Schade, das das festlandchinesische Management hier nicht besser geschult ist…

Wir waren geschäftlich in Shanghai. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Fluß und man hat einen herrlichen Blick. Das Personal ist perfekt geschult, sehr freundlich und professionell. U Bahn und Fähren waren fussläufig schnell zu erreichen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen tollen Fitnessraum einschließlich Sauna und Pool. Im Hotel gibt es auch ein tolles Sterne Restaurant. Ins Zentrum braucht man ca. 20 min (10 Minuten zur U-Bahn, 10 Minuten Fahrt). Der Concierge ist goldwert. Das neue Messezentrum ist schnell zu erreichen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.

Das Hotel liegt in Pudong, dem neueren Teil der Stadt. Man muss einplanen, dass man in die Innenstadt ein paar Minuten braucht.

The junior staff at the restaurant whom is Carrie a female serve me well. She was polite and super friendly.

I did not really enjoy my stay as the staff were unfriendly. The junior staff are friendly and helpful especially Carrie from breakfast. The managers in suit are not friendly at all. There was this experience when i entered the elevator and the manager was so unfriendly and not a single word of greeting from him. He look so arrogant and unfriendly. I wont want to go back to that hotel anymore.

I am sorry but this is not a 5* service, I was expecting reception to speak proper English, then I got changed my initial room (2815) for a lower quality room (615), I knew I booked for Deluxe River view but I am usually upgraded when going to such hotels and I felt they were downgrading me not explaining the real reason why they changed last minute room allocation. For the price paid, don't expect to receive an excellent treatment you are not as considered as in other competitor chains.

The hospitality is perfect in everything. A relatively quiet room. The elevator doesn't get crowded. A foods are delicious. Mandarin’s staff is nice and friendly.

Breakfast at the lounge floor was great. The staff was very attentive. They helped us prepare gluten-free bread and lemon juice.

Diner buffet was a little bit disappointing, no so many healthy options.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was crowed but understandable; it was the May 1 holiday. Staff was doing everything they could to make table available ASAP. Food was OK.

1) Loud music playing at the pool and it wouldn't stop until 12:00 mid-night. It was extremely annoying. 2) Staff was polite dealing with customer but that's all about it. No one seems to be willing to go an extra mile making guests feeling more welcomed. For the record, I was never been greeted by anyone (even we look each other in the eye) during my 2-day stay at your hotel. 3) All in all, it was a great hotel in terms of its hardware and facilities, but fall short when it comes to customer service. A shame to its Forbes 5-star (1 of the only 3 in Shanghai) credential.

Everything was fine!

A+ for service. Due to a misunderstanding between the hotel, booking, and I, an extra night was booked under my name mistakenly. But the hotel were quick to fix that issue at no additional charge. Not only that but they upgraded my room, gave me a cake for my daughter's birthday, and they provided me with late checkout free of charge! The room I was given was amazing with absolutely breathtaking views of the bund and Pudong's financial district.
