Has a stream at the back
There is no WiFi but they advertise they do. Most of the things were broken. Pots and the cutleries were very dirty. Hotel not child friendly. Stairs are very very steep.

I like both John and Susie who manage the place, they are hands on to their business and they are very helpful. Susie set up the additional bed for our extra persons. She also help us find a way to get to the Turoa mountain. Thank you to this couple, very accommodating

Queen bed would have been more comfortable than rhe double bed

We were all comfortable for the short one overnight stay, but I also need a receipt for our Accounts purposes.
The funds were taken out of my private credit card and I need the RECEIPT urgently please!

Top marks for cleanliness. Could not fault it. I loved that they provide fresh milk instead of the usual uht milk you get at motels. Very good value for money. Well done.
Wifi was rather slow. One of the rooms in the chalet had no power points.

idyllic location. it’s a bit outside Ohakune. since we were driving around and had bought dinner prior to arriving at the location, the location didn’t matter much . on the other hand, the idyllic spot can be a romantic spot for couples . since I was traveling with a friend, it was me and and my hand for the night.
water pressure in the bathroom was inadequate. the place could do with a renovation, but wasn’t that big an issue for me.

Stairs are very noisy. Makes it hard when children are sleeping. More flannels in bathroom.

Exceptionally Clean. Hosts were AMAZING. All the facilities you need for a weekend Skiing holiday.
Only Gripe was the AC Unit was a little whiny in our Chalet - however it pumped out good heat.

The location is great and also the staff were friendly. The unit was quite clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Heating was very good as well.
