Has a stream at the back

There is no WiFi but they advertise they do. Most of the things were broken. Pots and the cutleries were very dirty. Hotel not child friendly. Stairs are very very steep.

I like both John and Susie who manage the place, they are hands on to their business and they are very helpful. Susie set up the additional bed for our extra persons. She also help us find a way to get to the Turoa mountain. Thank you to this couple, very accommodating

Queen bed would have been more comfortable than rhe double bed

Top marks for cleanliness. Could not fault it. I loved that they provide fresh milk instead of the usual uht milk you get at motels. Very good value for money. Well done.

Wifi was rather slow. One of the rooms in the chalet had no power points.

idyllic location. it’s a bit outside Ohakune. since we were driving around and had bought dinner prior to arriving at the location, the location didn’t matter much . on the other hand, the idyllic spot can be a romantic spot for couples . since I was traveling with a friend, it was me and and my hand for the night.

water pressure in the bathroom was inadequate. the place could do with a renovation, but wasn’t that big an issue for me.
