Nice property and behind the gates location in Punta Mita is always spectacular. I will mention that the property is not quite as described. The listing said there was a pool which was really a disabled hot tub. I have stayed at other El Encanto properties in the past that do have true pools and this was not that. It was disappointing. There were some maintenance issues that our concierge handled quickly for us by the end of our first day. She was great! The property is well appointed and worked well for us otherwise.

Our family of 4 had the best experience staying here. There was plenty of room to spread out, everything was extremely clean, and we made use of all of the amenities that came with the property. Cecilia, the concierge for the property, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. She answered questions ahead of time, met us when we arrived, and was reachable our entire vacation to help with recommendations and reservations. 10 out of 10!

The condo only had three bedrooms and a flex space with one set of bunk beds. Bedrooms as defined by VRBO must have a window and a closet. The room with the bunkbeds did not have a window and the closet was a linen closet with cleaning supplies. There were no beds for my children to stay. We had a concierge helping us and asked to speak to the owner. I also sent a message through the VRBO chat feature and requested that the property manager call me back as soon as possible. Thy property manager never responded. I had to accommodate my children outside of the gates because no one from VRBO returned my call to accommodate our group as I was promised. I called on July 2nd, 2023. I am still waiting for a call from the "expediting customer service team". Don't book VRBO!

I can't say enough good things about this place! My family of 5 were greeted by the property manager when we arrived. She even helped schedule excursions, restaurants, and other outings for us. The housekeeper even made us breakfast one morning that was absolutely outstanding! The property comes with access to the golf and the entire resort. There was never a question of safety for me or my family during the entire stay. We will definitely be back to visit. The one thing I would do differently....don't rent a car in PVR. Let Cecilia help you arrange transportation and rent a golf cart. Everything (including the nearby town) is accessible by golf cart. We will definitely be back!

This was our second time to this house. Cecelia is fabulous to work with. Attentive and prompt with requests. The house is spacious and in a great location. We will be back!

We loved our stay at El Encanto and in Punta Mita! Cecelia was incredibly helpful during our entire stay. She arranged transportation to and from the airport, took my grocery order and made sure it arrived, greeted us at checkin and checkout, made dinner reservations for us at The Four Seasons and St Regis and even replied to my frantic texts at midnight one night during a horrific rainstorm! The water was so high it come through the doors on level 2 and 3 so she told me where to find more towels to serve as a stopgap. Of note: the master is on the 3rd floor while the rest of the bedrooms are on the 1st floor so this would not work if you have small kids. The bunk room we did not use but it is pretty small and is right next to the laundry. There is Netflix and Prime video on the TV’s (2nd floor and ‘master). We loved the location. Close to St Regis and Sufi and a short golf cart ride to all the others. We did access the golf course and it’s super close to the Golf pro shop as well! I would definitely stay here again!

The house, facilities, clubs, and beaches were incredible. We've traveled the world and this is a special place. Very safe! It has the feel of a national park. We will definitely come back. Cecila will take care of anything you would like. Thank again!

Premier Golf membership is a must if you stay at Punta De Mita. Make sure your host has access to this membership. It allows you to golf and access to the resort beaches. We had a wonderful time because the host had this membership. This location was excellent. The home is what you see in the pictures. You can practically stay in beautiful Punta de Mita resort, your entire vacation. We felt safe. Need groceries? , Sam's Club and Walmart are only 45 min away. Punta de Mita has the Hawaii look and feel now. It has transformed to an oasis compared to the barren lands of 30 years ago.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the property. There were a few small issues (e.g. the dishwasher did not work, and no wifi on the lowest level) but they had no impact on our stay. The location was solid (central but closer to St. Regis and the Sufi beach club) the housekeeper was extremely good and nice and the concierge, Cecilia, was extremely helpful. Cecilia was always available and helped us navigate getting to Punta Mita and really anything we wanted to do. We did not use her a lot but she was awesome. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location of this unit is wonderful since it is located within the gates of the PuntaMita development and the access to all the beach clubs and golf course is a major plus. I have stayed in many properties inside the gates and this has been the only time I’ve been disappointed. The photos are deceiving, the place has been remodeled and not for better, it is reminiscent of either a pediatric hospital ward or a kindergarten, the 4th “bedroom” is a closet, the finishes and the decore are uninspired to say the least, and the spaces over all are small and not very comfortable. It says it fits 10, but that would me more of it squeezes 10, since there is not even enough chairs in the dinning room for 10 people. There is barely any storage space in either in the rooms, bedrooms or kitchens since most all the doors and drawers have locks on them. We ended up enjoying our stay after our initial disappointment, but only because the compound is so wonderful. The house did nothing for us. There are many, many much better places to stay within Punta Mita for the same price.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa El Encanto in Punta Mita. The home is tri-level and nicely appointed with a great kitchen, furnishings and plenty of space to hang out indoors and outdoors. The Punta Mita property is massive (2 golf courses, 4 beach clubs with infinity pools restaurants) and well maintained by staff. You could book lots of different types of excursions through the resort and our host was very helpful in answering our questions while there. We were a total of eight and we were there to celebrate our son's high School graduation combined with a family vacation. We would recommend staying at El Encanto to anyone who's looking for a picturesque and luxurious setting an environment. We can't wait to go back and explore more of what Punta Mita has to offer!

Great master bedroom with ocean views. Large open main floor for hosting guests. Stephanie was fantastic in setting up the place and responding to emails, getting us transportation, and answering questions. access to everything and all the beach clubs is nice, except I didn't have golf privileges which was unfortunate because it looked beautiful. Having the golf cart is clutch as you can get around the entire complex and to town without having to have a rental car or taxi. Would recommend! Thanks Stephanie!

Please do not rent this house!! I had been planning a family vacation for 3 months-and reserved this house 2.5 months before our trip. I emailed the owner, Stephanie, a few weeks before our trip asking basic questions. Got no response. Then, 6 days before we are to leave, she emails me and says that her husband is going to use the house!!!! Who does this?? Yes, she did make arrangements for us to stay at another condo, somewhere else not even in the same development, but it was not the same and it was not anywhere near a beach, didn’t have a private pool, no golf cart, and didn’t have the same club membership. I had no choice but to stay there since we had already purchased plane tickets, rental car, etc. To make matters worse I had to badger Stephanie to get my deposit back once we got home. I’ve heard from previous renters of this property that she has taken forever to get the deposit back for them as well and doesn’t communicate in a timely manner. If you want peace of mind - find another rental!! Save yourself the trouble.

Our family spent one fantastic week here and enjoyed every minute. Stephanie was kind enough to arrange transportation from the PV airport to Punta Mita. A golf cart is all you need to get around. The small town outside the gates has groceries, shopping and many restaurants to choose from that are accessible with the golf cart. We were quite impressed with the level of security at the Punta Mita property. The unit was beautiful, clean and well appointed. The Premier Membership allows access to 3 beach clubs, with one that just opening late 2017. Definitely would return for another stay.

We know very little about the area and are just so delighted that we found and got to enjoy Punta Mita. All aspects of the villa were excellent and Stephanie was an absolute joy to work with. Any questions that arose or issues that came up were immediately dealt with in a seamless and efficient way. The resort itself is a lot of fun and having a golf cart to explore and enjoy the area was a great convenience. The golf course is not to be missed. The beach clubs are both very nice and each has a different feel and views. We visited both the Four Seasons and the St. Regis, which are two very nice properties. Ultimately we were glad we chose the El Encanto Villa which felt so much more like home and gave us more space and quiet than a hotel. Our vacation at El Encanto was incredibly satisfying. It exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The property is awesome, it is more beautiful than the photos. Very safe, a great environment. First of all, it's very spacious even for our group of 7 (4 adults & 3 teenagers). When we arrived, Don Jesus & Blanca were already waiting for us, and were very helpful all week long. They were always interested if we were having a good time, and if there was anything they could do for us. The terrace is very nice, with a pool and a BBQ area. We spent our late afternoons there, having a great time with the family. The view is very nice, as you can see the ocean and the golf course from the rooms and terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms were just perfect, very comfortable, and very nice. And the kitchen has everything you need for great cooking. The property rental includes access to 2 beach clubs that were just fantastic (Resident's Beach Club and Kupuri Beach Club). For some reason, during that week, access to the St. Regis beach club was not allowed. I enjoyed 2 rounds of golf, and the setting is just amazing. The tennis courts are also great, there are more than 10 both hard surface and synthetic grass. We didn't see people playing, they were all unused during that week; maybe because it is a little expensive ($37 USD/hr). We just played once, and preferred to go back to the golf course. It includes a golf cart we used to go to the beach and to buy groceries. It was so fun for all of us. A good measure from the security staff is that, for the safety of everyone, only adults are allowed to drive. We can not wait to come back again to this same property. We had a great time, the best family vacation ever!

We just returned from a week long stay in beautiful Punta de Mita in this lovely condo. Much better than staying at a hotel. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The golf cart is your ticket to explore the beach clubs and the town. Highly recommend!

Our first time in Punta Mita and we could not have been happier to have picked a condo over the over-priced hotels in the area. This unit is huge, very well appointed, in a great location inside the gates of Punta Mita. Everything was clean, the owners were incredibly helpful for anything we needed. And the beach clubs were AMAZING. We went to check out the Four Seasons one day and were so relieved not to be staying there after seeing how many kids were running around! This place is an absolute steal!

We are from Georgia and had never been to Punta Mita. The owner and her staff were extremely helpful in making sure not a single detail was missed. The town home was beautifully appointed. We have a 5 year old only child who made so many friends at the Beach Club, while his mommy made friends with the waiters and their delicious cocktails ! :-). Surfing was great for the husband. We all got what we wanted. The villa had such comfortable beds and surroundings, we usually got a late start in the morning from lounging about enjoying our surroundings. The golf cart was perfect transportation. Simply beautiful. We will be back !
