Set in a lovely area, only 30 mins from Amsterdam on the bus. Has charm without the hassle of Amsterdam. The apartment easily accommodated 5 people.

The noise from the local church bells where a little loud - not the property’s fault.

The view on the canal and boats was incredible. Hearing the church carillon was very nice. A lot of restaurants close by.

The stay at The Dutch buoy was absolutely fantastic. Great accommodation in a great location. The house is fully and stylishly equipped. The morning breakfasts overlooking the picturesque canal street were amazing. Check in and check out was perfectly organized with all the necessary information and recommendation for the stay, trips, etc. There was no problem with parking our car right in front of the house. Thank you very much for a very pleasant time spent with the family in such a nice place.

The accommodation was amazing with very classy and artistic ornaments and furniture. The apartment was extremely clean and well presented and the beds were the most comfy ever. We were checked in and out by the concierge Ben, who was very helpful and professional. The only downside was that we didn't get to spend enough time in the apartment as we were out and about exploring - but this means that we will have to visit again :) The area of Monnikendam is absolutely stunning and quaint with beautiful bars and restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend this beacutiful house to anyone. You would not be disappointed.
