the apartment was adequate for my stay but it is in serious need of attention and/or general maintenance.
The entry door did not fit correctly and difficult to open or close.
Each internal door is a fire door ( local building code) the doors are extremely heavy and do not stay open unless a door wedge is used.
the electric wall heaters in each room were faulty and two stand alone heaters were provided for heating.
On the bath mixer tap fixture the tap control for the shower head was missing and one had to pull on a screw to get water to flow to the shower head.
The shower head fixture was broken.
the hot water flowing to the bath mixer tap fixture was dangerously hot.
The cold water tap was corroded and difficult to adjust the water temperature.
The heated towel rail in the bathroom did not work. (the latter two items were fixed immediately by the owner).

Sal is a fantastic host. Makes himself available and cares that you have a good stay.
He needs to fix the lounge curtains but he knows that. And he can help you with parking your car as the underground car park is not available for guests.

Sal is exceptionally hospitable. Once the booking was confirmed he was in contact and very helpful. He was always available to provide advice on parking etc. He was at the place earlier than check in time as we were landing in the morning to give us the keys and explain everything. He made us feel very at home and welcome. He was very flexible and always there for any questions/help. Perfect location in terms of shops, travel, park, leisure centre etc.
The apartment had everything we needed but maybe some of the old stuff e.g. under bed/ behind washing machines could be removed. Some parts need upgrading e.g. couch/chairs/bed. Water from shower was quite hot, but cools down after running for a while.

Superb location and Salvatore was an excellent host who was very efficient and addressed any minor issues straight away. Great facilities, it really felt like a home away from home! Loved watching the sunset every day on the balcony.
