Quizá una pega sería el baño fuera de la habitación pero al final te adaptas

La habitación estaba bien, aunque la cama era extremadamente dura. El baño estaba muy bien y el balcón era muy útil para tomar el desayuno, además de que contaba con todas las facilidades para ello, estaba muy bien.

Very clean and well accommodated room. Nicely furnished and good bed. There are utilities, a fridge and a microwave. Clear instructions on how to get into the building. Very approachable host

Clean but old shower

Clean and comfortable guesthouse type accommodation with a lovely friendly host. Everything you might need is provided and the property is in a great location for accessing the city.

Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay!

1st night room 2. was clean , little fridge, coffeemaker. microwave, waterboiler, coffee. suger and tea available as plates, cups, glasses and cutlery . Contact with manager was more than OK. was always available for information etc through telephone. Second night room 4. That was even better. more space and a separate space with all the kitchenstuff and even a 2 ring stove with 2 pans. So we ate there with stuff bought from the Aldi just around the corner. For the price we payed it was awesome.

It took us 40 minutes to find the place, driving back and forth, as we couldn't find any sign that clarify were the rooms are. We relied on help from the neighbours, which were very kind. There were no instructions how to find the keys. These instructions were emailed only thanks to a kind neighbour which contacted the landlord. Without her, we would be left outside hours. There was no light in the floor's hall. Neither the TV nor the heat in the room didn't worked (Room #3). There was coffee .and tea but no caps to actually have the drink. The room was clean, beds we comfortable.

Despite of being small the room is cozy and warm

The front door is difficult to open, I even hurt my hand opening that. I guess I was unlucky but you should check that door.

The room was nice, enough for one or two. The check-in is automatic, which means you don't have to race against the clock. The location is excellent, as it allows you to quickly go anywhere in the town on foot or by public transport. In the summer it is easy to park your car close by.

The fridge in the room can be useful, but the noise was annoying.

Bathroom

The price was good, and it had a great balcony. The bathroom was clean, and ours was private (but accessed in the hallway). There was a coffeemaker with coffee and sugar provided. Also a small refrigerator with a little freezer and ice tray. The bar next door was very good, cheap, with several billiard tables. We enjoyed playing billiards after some sightseeing. The owners were very nice, and the beer was good and very cheap.

It was a little confusing to check in, especially if you don't speak Portuguese. It's really more of a guesthouse that runs like an Air B 'n B, rather than a hotel. I received a message via booking.com one day before our stay detailing how to check in, but for some reason it didn't download properly on booking.com. so I couldn't read it. So after a bit of confusion upon arrival the afternoon of our stay, we managed to buzz the building and the manager (Francisco) told us to get the keys at the bar next door. We went up and he let us in and explained everything. He does speak English, so we were able to communicate ok. The place also is a bit far from the center, so be prepared to walk a good 30 minutes (or get other transportation). We had a car, but preferred to walk rather than find parking in the center. There was a decent amount of free street parking near the residence.

We missed equipment to wash dishes. There was no kettle. Also the coffee maker had no filters. Microkitchen instead of the balcony was strange.

The owner was very friendly and informative about places to visit in the city. Good location about 20 minutes walk from the centre in a residential area.

We had booked this room mainly because it had access to a washing machine and a kitchen. We were travelling around Portugal and we were looking to cook to avoid eating out during the pandemic and we had timed it so that it would be a good opportunity to wash clothes for the reminder of the trip. However the kitchen was closed due to prevent COVID however we were not told this prior to our stay which was rather frustrating as we had planned to use it. An email to inform us would have been good.

Great location, facilities were good, everything was always very clean (I stay more than once), and the staff was very kind.

The room overall is very nice, it had its own private bathroom too, which is perfect. In addition to this, the laundry service was free! This wasn't a DIY laundry (as I expected), someone did the laundry for me. This was a nice surprise!

Picking up the keys was a hassle. I was told to contact them 30 minutes before I arrived at the place so they could come to give me the keys, which I did. However, once I arrived they were not there and I was told to wait. This was very annoying as I made everything possible to be on time. Location wise, it is not as in the city center as I thought it would be. It makes reaching the train station / center harder as the city has loads of hills and public transportation doesn't seem that great
