We loved Aneta and the vessel "the six brothers" perfect for four persons, plenty of space, light and airy in a lovely chilled part of the North city. Aneta was lovely and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, even letting us drop our bags off early so we could explore the city unhindered before check in. The metro station at Noorderpark was approx 15 mins away on foot, then one stop to centrum. Cafe de Ceuvel was a delight, gorgeous fresh food at great prices.
Could have been a little cleaner for us, and the slight list to STB made sleeping up forward a little uncomfortable for me, the other three were fine.

It was reasonably quiet. A unique place to stay.
A fan would be nice to have.

We like the boat house atmosphere. It was very interesting experience.
It's a bid of pity that there are no stoves in the kitchen, which is different from the photos it shows. We were thinking to cook something simple in the house.

I loved the idea of showing my friends how fun it was to stay on a houseboat since I have had a very pleasant experience at another place in Amsterdam years ago.
The only positive things I can say was the location was close to transit, there was a couple of nice eateries close by, and the bedding and linen were clean.
I was very disappointed when the person that let us in could only speak Spanish, but at least she was available to show us our accommodations. The cover for the skylight was removed only to have a flood in the dining area after a downpour, plus, a few other leaks like on the toilet paper roll. Not sure I would call a coffee machine a kitchen, there was no way to cook or toast. The dishes needed to be washed before use, some glasses had dried milk in the bottom. Plus, there should be a height restriction noted if over 172 cm unless you don’t mind touching the ceiling with your head when using the toilet, or crouching somewhat when showering. If you have any mobility issues that would hinder you climbing into or out of bed, this is not the place for you, at least not the particular boat we had.

Amazing and unique stay at Asile Flottant. It exceeded mine and my friends expectations. Staff were super helpful and lovely. We really liked the location of the boats - easy to get into the centre but also lots of cool restaurants and bars nearby. The cinema room was great for our group of friends.
Nothing - the bedrooms are small in the boats, but I think if you are choosing to stay on a boat you would expect this!

beautiful and spacious boat. Stayed on the Del a Sol boat and it was better than I expected. huge bath tub with hot water flowing well. I was worried about how cold it would be and brought things like electric heater blankets and electric heater fans but didnt even need them at all because it was very well heated in every room. Only thing that didnt heat up was the floors but there were rugs on the very cold areas of the boat. I loved the cinema room!
The only things I “didnt like” was that there wasnt a any self catering appliances in the kitchen. Would have made it 10000% perfect if there was at least a microwave/oven. The other thing is that the on-site restaurant is vegan only so you have to walk quite a distance to get good food options.

Concept
Bed room cells were a bit low, I got hitted several times. Hotel should notice this in advance. One of my family does not feel comfortable when sleep in a small room. But overall it was a good experience

The boathouse is out of our expectation. It almost has everything a family needs (except a microwave). the location is easy to find, and the transportation is not complicated. It’s perfect for kids to explore!
To add a couple of kitchen e-appliances for a warm breakfast if possible.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was so quiet and relaxing, the gentle rock of the boat . After our initial check-in, we were pretty much left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet, knowing the friendly staff were a call away. I would recommend this as a great base for visiting the larger south city. We lobed it
I would say the area outside of the boat area is much more residential and not really a place we spent much time in as we were always heading into the city. But in another way, this was quite good and served as a peaceful escape from the bustling city

The location was within walking distance to Dam central station. The views from the boat were lovely. You could go for a swim if you wish. The beds were very comfortable. I liked the large table we could all sit together at. The heaters made the boat really warm in no time. The cinema room looked cool but we didn't get chance to watch any movies!
I'd have liked carpet as the floors on the lower deck were very cold.

Loved the location, being on the canal but in a secure location
It was more old fashioned than I’d understood from the pictures. the bathroom was toilet etc was clean but the rest of the bathroom needed a good clean.

Aneta is a wonderful host; she made us feel very welcome and cared for. Asile Flottant is a relaxed and at the same time, elegant and unique holiday retreat in the heart of Amsterdam. Greatly recommend Asile Flottant for a family stay.
More toilet paper and some extra table ware, please

The boat was really fun and authentic-feeling. The beds were compact but comfortable, and the location quiet, yet well connected for transport links.
