We loved our stay at the Sonder the Bard. Have stayed with Sonder previously and this was another great find. The location was close to all the train stations making it easy to get to & from the airport. We loved that we could walk everywhere and if not we could jump on the tube to get to where we needed to go. The rooms were spacious, clean and bright and cheerful. The facilities available were excellent. When we needed assistance, someone was always on the phone to help with any query. Would return again. Great value for money.
N/A there was nothing that we did not like. All was smooth and easy to access.

Loved Saco Fitzrovia! Its a lovely area and convenient for excellent restaurants, pubs, shops and close to all attractions. Quick walk from London Euston too. The apartments are modern, clean and very comfortable with everything you need. Will definitely be booking again!
Would have liked more tea/coffee in the apartment and toilet roll. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Location was the best thing about Sonder The Bard. It was great, walking distance to the main attractions and parks. Underground station (Goodge Street, Northern line) was 1 min walking. A lot of very nice restaurants in the area. To my surprise, the area was quite silent during the night (we stayed on the 6th floor). Self check-in was also appreciated, as well as the supply cabinet for what we needed (additional coffee, tea, sugar, toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, etc), free of charge. Beds were comfortable, bed linen and towels of good quality. Wi-Fi is very good.
The assistance was really bad. We stayed for 12 nights, and on the very first day we informed that the bed side lamps (from all beds) were not working. We were told that someone would go there the day after to fix. One week passed and no one came to fix. Then I complained again, someone came and said he had to buy new lamps. Another week has passed, we left, and still the lamps were not fixed. The kitchen curtain above the counter was not working. The tap from the main bathroom was really loose. Overall the apartment is nice, but it's clearly visible that it needs to be maintained to be kept in good condition. Deterioration signs are visible everywhere. Also, regarding the cleaning, we found the living room rug and the floor with a lot of hair. I vacuumed the rug and all apartment and couldn't believe all the dirt that came out.

Nice, clean apartment, the location was great !
Terrible drill noise, every morning at 7.30-8 am. This noise was coming from the apartment above. Many neighbors have complained about this. Everything would be fine if not for this noise, it ruined our mornings !!! If you on holiday you want to sleep!!!! .

great location and view. Huge balcony. Clean room.

+Location was probably the best thing about our stay. We were also happy with the kitchen appliances and products that were provided ahead of time. If you run out, you have an option to grab free off charge essentials from the ground floor cabinet. The apartment was cleaned before our arrival, although a used cup and a broken mirror frame were forgotten on the dining table.
I didn't have enough space for the negatives so I will be adding them here too:
-There was a large construction site right outside (not an exaggeration, we were eye to eye with the workers) of our windows. It is better if you get the upper floors but that's is not guaranteed. The building itself, although with a refreshed interior, is noticeably old. You can hear your neighbours and the outside noise very easily. Wouldn't have been a huge issue if not for the loud construction noises that started at 7/8 am and went on until 4pm. Some of the furniture is also in need of some check ups. I broke my nail struggling to open a closet door in the master bedroom, which was a bummer as I had an event coming up soon. Speaking of closets, one of the bedrooms is so tiny that it has no room for one. For some reason they choose to put a massive desk instead of a dresser, which was very inconvenient especially when there is more than one person staying together.
The staff although friendly, are unreliable and unorganised. After a week I decided to extend our stay. Once we managed to do that they did not clearly communicate that we would be moving to a different place. It was an issue for us because we had 8 suitcases and their check in and out times have close to 5 hours between them. You can ask for a late or early check in but them seeing your request without you having to constantly remind them is unlikely. As mentioned below, they neglected to check that a resident was still staying in one of the apt. and we all basically walked in on him sleeping. Very upsetting and unnerving for him and...
One night at 4 am I woke to the sound of our bathroom ceiling leaking. I immediately contacted them and asked for someone to come. Once the leakage started getting worse I told them this was an emergency and someone should arrive now. Assured me someone would in a concerned-customer-service-voice, but no one did. They even lied to me that someone was on the way when in reality they hadn't even spoken to anyone. The heating and lights stopped working as a result, and still no one showed up. We were forced to go up to the upper resident's place, who is a stranger to us and the whole thing was extremely frightening for me to do, at 6 am. We discovered that the leaking was coming from an overflowing toilet that she told us she had requested them to fix two days ago but where no one showed up (I had no difficulty believing her because we had a similar issue with our dishwasher where we waited for someone an entire day but no one arrived). At last someone arrived at 10 am and at this point we were very upset, tired and cold. The entire morning I was on the call with several people where I had to reexplain the same issue for them to tell me: Their management doesn't work on Sat. so they can't issue me a refund for my pre-booked month (I wanted to leave); They can offer me to move to a new place and then move to another one after 2 days because they both are booked at different slots. And with their check in times I would have to wait god know's where for 4/5 hours TWICE; Then told me I can't even move to either of those apartments either, so will have to spend the nigh in that toilet water drained apartment with no functioning bathroom, heating or light. After they finally found us a new place, they offered to show it to us as a possible option, only for the current resident to still be there, because the staff forgot to check that he had a late check out.

it is new but was very cold thats why they change it for us to other building
very cold.. the heating system is not working properly, and there is a wind coming in one of the window.
the sink of the toilet as well as the kitchen accumulate water and when the water from the sink of toilet goes it comes over the kitchen.
The apartment has unpleasant smell.
The water of the toilets and kitchen is freezing.
the customer service is very poor, they are not helpful ( i ordered an extra blanket many times but no one response)
no flexibility for cancellation

The location was unbelievable. The apartment had everything you needed for a lengthily stay. It was very nicely decorated.
It had a separate toilet from the shared bathroom.
The geyser was not big enough for two people to have a hot shower or bath. There was no desk or dressing table to put your make up or toiletries in the main room.
4.1
the heater was working perfectly, the room was nice and tidy. the location is also great.
the coffee machine wasnt working. the other toilet wont flush. spent 4 nights in there hoping there will be someone who cleans the room and change the towels but they charge you extra for that on top of the (almost) 700 pounds per night.

The look of the hotel pictures and the locations!
The fact the hotel called me at 6.00 pm and cancelled my booking without warning! I had been working all day so did not have a chance to checkin at the normal time of 3.00pm. My wife and two young girls were flying in to join me in celebrating the opening of our new shop but we ended up spending hours trying to sort it with Sonder and looking for new new accommodation! they first told me it was because there had been maintenance issues and then they told me they had over sold the accommodation! in over 20 years of business travel this has never been done to me so was a little shocked!

-Excellent location
-impeccable
-comfortable
Beware early check in!
We had a 12+ hour flight arriving at 7am to the stay. This place has no reception and offered no options for check in before 4pm. This was extremely inconvinient. We had to endure 24+ hours with no sleep/place to put things becuase of this. Basically made it so 1 day was completly lost since we had no energy to enjoy day and had to juggle luggage around in plain london cold as well since storage in building is very limited.
If they are to advertise as hotel most of the times hotels will try and facilitate in some way early check ins and give something better than "you own your own". At least a lobby with a bathroom.

Good location, really large apartment
Forgot to mention at booking that 6 days a week there are very loud building works right outside the apartment - there was a sign in reception, and these weren't new so it's very poor to not mention them!
Shower leaked badly
Even with the boost, not enough water for a bath
Light bulbs not working in several rooms
Very very hard bed
No tea towels and only one dish washer tablet
Broken TV - changes channels repeatedly
Ignored message sent during the stay

Amazing location a very short walk to Goodge St underground. security exceptional. Reception staff (particularly the blonde lady) extremely helpful. Able to leave luggage there before check in and after check out. Quiet block… obviously London sirens though. Fab views over London from our apartment (5th floor). Great facilities for a family stay. kitchen well stocked. We booked a 1 bed with sofa bed and we’re upgraded to a 2 bed which was amazing!
Tiny bit of mould in corner of bath/shower - not a big issue though. Shower temperature a little hard to control. Freezer door in fridge/freezer broken… not an issue for our one night stay.

very spacious, great facilities and really central location
nothing really!

The apartment was modern and spacious for us 4 girls. The beds were comfy, and the whole place felt very homely. The location was perfect, literally round the corner from Goodge St station and 10 min walk from Oxford St. Although check-in was at 4pm, we were able to get into the apartment at 2pm which was great! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Really great value for money considering we we had a 2 bedroom apartment and where it was in London.
The shower seal between the glass and bath was loose which caused the bathroom to flood every time we had a shower. There were no tea towels and also not many sugar sachets in relation to the amount of coffee sachets we had. On our last morning, we could hear banging and we believe drilling from the apartment above us which started at around 5am.
4.1
The location was amazing. The actual size of the apartment was good, we loved the living room/kitchen set up and having a small (very small) balcony was a huge bonus as my husband is a smoker. Check in was fast and easy. The apartment was very clean.
Only enough hot water for 2 people to have showers on first day, second day only heated up enough for one person. One of the double bedrooms was just two beds pushed together, not actually linked so they moved apart during the night and we had two single quilts instead of a double. The "welcome pack" was a few sachets of coffee, sugar and tea, no milk or bottled water which isn't ideal when arriving late at night as if it didn't state it would be provided we would have brought it with us. The night supervisor just shrugged his shoulders when we asked and message wasn't passed onto the daytime concierge. The bathroom flooded every time the shower was put on as the shower screen had a gap underneath it. The second toilet had no light or window so was unusable. The second bedroom light was on the same switch as the bathroom so could only have one light on at a time. The lamps in the main bedroom didn't work and the light bulb in the main light was so dim it was useless for getting ready at night. Lots of damage in the apartment, broken base boards, cracked cupboards under sink, peeling paint above shower etc. Blinds in the main bedroom completely see through so we were awake as soon as the sun came up. Windows also really drafty in the main bedroom so the room was freezing even with the little heater on.
A real shame as the location was amazing and the size of the apartment really good, if the problems were fixed we would love to come back but I can't stay somewhere with no hot water in winter.

It was the second night stay at the same hotel, because we were very satisfied with the first night and then decided to stay one more night.

The location is good and we can see the sky wheel through room windows. The room is good with a good heating system. Besides, the shampoo and conditioner are well-known good brand.
