It was very clean, comfortable and a pleasant place to stay. Nice 10 min walk to the waterfront. My husband and were travelling with his parents (and uncle, who had a separate studio), so we had a two bedroom unit. It was lovely and quiet, and I wasn’t afraid to take my shoes off! The room was a little dated, but it was great for one night.

Only silly minor things like the absence of shower caps and lack of spare towels.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived a little earlier than expected and we were able to get a room which was very well suited to us. Better than expected. The weather was cold and wet outside but our room was lovely and comfortable and warm. Just the right place to come back to after a day out in the elements.

Only a minor thing but the toilet space and shower were a little small. But this was only the very tiniest of inconveniences.

The spa

I could check in a little early, the host had to search for an already room which worked out fine. It's within walking distance of the center too.

It could be quieter. Especially with the New Zealander way of construction (i.e. no insulation at all).

The whole building and the room is new and clean.

The washing machine is so small if you have a lot of clothes it really take time to wash.
