Luxury Beach Villa on Gulf of Mexico next to Resort Club!
Cet hôtel et le Pointe West Beach Club n'ont pas été endommagés par l'ouragan Harvey. La Beach Villa est un condo moderne et confortable situé à côté du Beach Club et de la promenade principale dans les dunes du Pointe West Resort. Il y a une vue magnifique sur la plage et le golfe du Mexique depuis le balcon. L’emplacement de ce condo, au cœur du complexe Pointe West, permet un accès facile et proche au Beach Club, à la piscine et à la plage. La plage est magnifique, vaste, régulièrement damée et fermée à la circulation automobile - ce qui en fait le lieu idéal pour profiter du surf ou construire des châteaux de sable en famille. Le Beach Club est surélevé et dispose d'une piscine à débordement qui surplombe la plage et le golfe du Mexique. En plus de la piscine, le club dispose d’un jacuzzi chauffé, d’une pataugeoire pour enfants, d’un centre de remise en forme, d’une salle de jeux et d’une aire de pique-nique avec barbecues à gaz. Le restaurant, le bar et la boutique de souvenirs sont ouverts en mars. Il y a plus de 3 miles de la plage et de 6 miles de pistes cyclables à la station. Un foyer, idéal pour la construction d’un feu de camp et le grillage de guimauves, est situé à proximité du condo. Les propriétaires gèrent personnellement la Beach Villa et attachent une grande importance à la qualité de l’expérience de chaque client. Le condo est maintenu en parfait état.

Enjoyed our stay tremendously! One week after a hurricane and everything was back in tip top shape! Check in and out process with the host was super easy and was very responsive leading up to our check in date! Clean condo and the huge balcony was so nice to enjoy even in the rain! We will definitely stay again!

The condo is right next to the beach club, which was so nice, especially with a younger child. The walk to the boardwalk to get to the beach was easy, and we greatly appreciated access to Joan and Alan's wagon, chairs and beach toys! Made getting to the beach and packing up the car for the trip down to Galveston that much easier.
Beds were super comfortable, the condo also comfortably furnished. The kitchen had all the necessary pots, pans, coffee maker and grinder, and even some pyrex storage containers! That was a helpful surprise.
Joan was very communicative and helped us figure out whether getting down there right after Beryl was possible or not and what to expect.
What a great getaway! We are so appreciative! We will be back!

We absolutely LOVED our time at this property. The unit itself is so comfortable and clean, with plenty of room and everything you need. The outdoor balcony was wonderful for meals with a view of the sea and the elevator was a huge help for luggage/groceries/beach & pool supplies. The property is fabulous - an infinity pool with a view of the beach, drinks poolside with waiter service, a great restaurant, and a quick walk to the beach. The hosts and property manager are so kind and relaxed, as well as everyone else who worked at the property. We hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay. It’s a beautiful resort with the best of both worlds, the ocean is a quick walk over the boardwalk or you have great access to the pool. The restaurant is open as well as the bar.
The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen has everything you need and you have access to the charcoal grill if needed. The patio gives you a beautiful view of the ocean and a quiet place to read.
Joan very kindly allowed us access to the beach chairs and shade cover. We had great communication prior to and throughout our trip. She was a wonderful host; it was nice to have a person to contact rather than a generic company. The check in was easy and we felt very safe leaving our teenage girls in the condo while we went to the beach.
There are 2 separate pools. One large pool in the main building and a smaller pool with a lazy river across the road and to the west on the bayside. This smaller pool has a beautiful view of the sunset. No outside food or drink at the big pool because they have a bar and restaurant. Take a cooler with food and drinks to the smaller pool since there are no services.
I highly recommend this condo for its quiet location, close proximity to the ocean and main building, as well as great communication with the host. It was a soft place to land after a busy touristy day in town.

Everything was great. Owners were very quick to respond when the AC went out the last day. Only issue was (which is my fault for not checking the address) the property is all the way at the other end of Galveston and the beach tournament was 50 minutes away. Great place just wish it was closer to the main restaurants, activities and grocery stores. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here 2 days over the weekend and had a great experience. Restaurant, pool, beach and lazy river, what could you want? Their storage was full things for the beach, cooler, chairs, shade and toys. All you have to do is show up.

We had a great stay and enjoyed all the amenities. The beach was clean and close. We enjoyed both pools on the property and also made dinner on the grill with a campfire on the resort’s shared space.

Villa was clean, well appointed and in close proximity to the beach and resort club with full amenities. Pictures as advertised (and even better in person!). The host, Joan, went out of her way to ensure our time there was memorable. Not only were specific check in instructions provided (read them, so very helpful!!) but she shared a list of who to call for questions and/or minor repairs, a list of local restaurants and shops to check out, a list with pro-tips of amenities available at the resort next next door (like renting bikes, checking out beach volleyball, football and ping pong paddles, accessing a 2nd, heated pool). These all added to our incredible experience -equal time beaching and playing/on the go with the kids. The villa grounds were immaculate and Pointe West is quite nice - the boarded walks down to the beach are well maintained and we had fun riding bikes around checking out all the beach houses, basketball court and pool with lazy river close by. Joan made it easy so we were able to focus on our time together, away from the regular bustle. We had such a great stay, would highly recommend this property.

Our fourth trip to Pointe West….first stay in this unit and it was amazing. Owners were great and prompt to answer throughout out a stay which was great especially when a major storm blew in knocking out power.

Our family stayed in this unit for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The condo is very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you'd need to cook meals. Beds are comfortable and it's nice to have 2 tvs. Our toddler was enjoying her cartoons in bed after a long day at the beach while us adults were cooking and watching our own shows outside in the living room. The condo has more blankets/pillows than we would use. One thing I'd recommend is to bring trash bags! There were no trash bags in the condo, but luckily we came prepared and brought our own.
The Point West beach is nice , wide and clean. Although there were a lot of seaweeds, the water was clear. However, the last day we were there it rained and the beach was very smelly and water was very muddy. But I guess this is nature. Just know that when it rain the beach wont be as nice.
The beach club was also a nice touch. The grilling/seating area is very nice and clean. We had 2 meals there and we all enjoyed the view of the gulf. We also like the lazy river pools. It was perfect for our toddlers.
Joan and Allen were a joy to work with . They are extremely responsive and accommodating! They made sure we are informed of what we need to enjoy our trip and we did! Thank you for letting us stayed at your condo. We definitely will be back.

Just returned from a five day stay at Pointe West Resort. Alan and Joan Wilde are excellent to work with in renting their villa. They are very informative and attentive to their guests' needs. Their condo is in an ideal location in regards to the beach club and pool as well as the beach. We were there with our son and his wife and our two grandchildren, ages 4 and 1 1/2. The children's pool was great for the baby and the lazy river pool at the Sunset Beach Club was perfect for all of us! We were surprised on Friday and Saturday evenings when there were movies shown on the buildings across from ours. We could sit out on the balcony and watch movies! We certainly enjoyed our stay in the Wilde's Villa at Pointe West and would stay again.

We stayed in this condo for one week with our children. The condo was comfortable and clean. There was plenty of space and had the ideal location in the complex - easy to get to the pool and to the beach, but still quiet. Our kids had a great time - loved swimming, playing pool in the "teen room", flying kites, riding their bikes, and making smores in the charcoal bbq. We highly recommend this condo!!

After a friend suggested Pointe West, the offerings and quietness appealed to me for a mother-daughter trip. We enjoyed the games and puzzles, the fully stocked kitchen to cook/bake, and the comfortable beds, sitting, lounging spaces. We enjoyed the available beach items in the storage unit as well. Overall, a very nice stay!

The condo and resort property were absolutely beautiful! The location was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, but still close enough for us to be able to enjoy all the restaurants and attractions. The unit was very well maintained and there was plenty of space for my daughter and I. The Beach Club was great and the pool was very refreshing and clean. The elevator was a little iffy but we were advised before checking in. We will definitely be back!

The condo was fantastic! Clean, comfortable and very roomy for the family. We were impressed at how spacious it was. Wonderful view from the living areas, balcony and primary suite. Great parking, the stairs to the condo were nice, most people wouldn't need the elevator.
It is a bit far from stores, we should have planned our food shopping better.
We needed a bit more clarity on purchasing the villa wristbands. If you want to swim in the pool, then get them.
We asked Joan if she could move our stay up one day and she worked all that out for us beautifully.
