Great location… our unit did not have any kind of view but it was clean and comfortable. We took our 4 grown kids - 24, 24, 21 and 19. We had plenty of room.
It was a bit dated and smelled a bit musty when we first got there… Lots of steps so it would not be a good fit for anyone with any physical needs.

The hotel is older but clean and well stocked. The Asian lady in the office is nice.
Due to the smell We left a day early. Despite paying 3.6k to stay a week it just wasn't worth it. We drove to Key West every day to get away from there and you shouldn't have to leave your vacation spot to escape. The beach is basically there for looks only. The seaweed smell is just overwhelming. They use machine's to "clear" the beach but it's collected, and placed in a huge pile either on the side of the beach or next to the hotel where it sits in the sun smelling and rotting. Despite the man working for hour's to make a huge pile its still in the water and trash and debris. You have to walk through this sludge to get into the water. I am tough and I couldn't do it. We used the pool one night and only went to the beach to take photos. I don't even know how they could fix the problem but possibly start with having the rotting seaweed removed from the property not just put in a pile that would elevate some of the issues even though I am sure it will cost more it would be worth that cost to have happy residents staying for a vacation with positive feedback.

The location was in the middle to see all the sites that we wanted to see.
There are a lot of stairs to get into the villa, as well as spiral stair case inside to get to main living area. The smell from the seaweed at the beach was not that pleasant.

great location and lovely unit with amazing views. the staff were wonderful and the kitchen had everything one could want and the amenities were awesome. clean and very well kept units and property.
So many stairs with both bathrooms on top floor so need to be in good shape (especially seniors) for all the climbing and with luggage. Had wished that in the cooler weather they had heated the pool. during our stay there was a lot of renovations/updates going on which was noisy during the day but that shows the property is well kept

Place was great. Off the main road but close enough to everything. Staff great. We'll equipped with instructions for everything. Pool clean and great. Seaweed issue seem to decrease during week. Free wifi. Would bring water shoes next time. Place is well maintained

The pool, hot tub and grounds were well kept, the location is perfect, the AC was very adequate. Loved having a storage and laundry room. Also loved the large screened in patio!
Parking was a little bit of a hassel at times. I wasn't sure if we had a designated parking space and everybody just parked where they wanted and some residents had 2 vehicles. And the second vehicle should have been parked in the lot across the street. Other than that, our stay was excellent!

Each unit was very spacious. Good location. Nice pool area and hot tub. Nice out side bathroom. Good parking.
Apparently this time of year is a problem with seaweed in the keys, the smell was extremely foul. So we were not able to use the private beach. We had to drive to other beaches. This should be cleaned daily or set up nets to catch the seaweed like other area beaches. Never saw any staff members, if you needed anything your told to call they don’t want you walking into office. Not much privacy when using the private decks as they face a deck in the other units. Kitchen window should have a curtain you can close otherwise neighbors can see directly in. Kitchen is very small, no bathroom on the first floor, both are upstairs.not handicap accessible if that’s what you need.

The resort is perfect for families. It has a great beach that they were cleaning the seaweed every day. The pool and hot tub are very clean. The staff was friendly and always present. It was nice to have a marina right across the street that was an easy walk to enjoy. We loved the large screen porch!!
The negative is that the decor is very dated but we were not there for the lodging decor. If you cannot do stairs this is not the place for you. You have to walk up multiple steps to get inside and then have to walk a narrow spiral staircase to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms. My kid thought it was super cool. Overall we would definitely go back.
