Das gesamt Bild, große Zimmer, gute Lage.

Die Einfahrt zum Hotel ist nicht gut zu finden, wir waren nicht die einzigen die es nicht sofort gefunden haben. Dann der Wasserfleck in unserem Zimmern, das erste was man gesehen hat. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, keine Ablage Möglichkeit unter der Dusche, alles musste man auf den Boden stellen, im Badezimmer das gleiche. Rutschige Fliesen unter der Dusche. Und nicht vergessen der Schimmel in der Ecke in der Dusche.

I cannot say enough good things about Villa Platamone. It is truly a beautiful property and Silvano, Therese and Nic were such great hosts. They helped with everything you need, Silvano even managed to get us a private boat tour last minute and it was fantastic and Therese is a sommelier! She took us to a local winery where we did a tasting. The property is a short walk into Como but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to really allow you to relax. Finally the Breakfast!! Honestly the best breakfast we have ever had. A great start to our honeymoon and if you are thinking about it, just book it!

If I was not-picking there’s no fridge in the room but then again a fridge would take away some of the historic feel in the room. So, I’d say it wasn’t really an issue

I cannot rave enough about how fabulous our stay was. The house, room and facilities are beautiful, perfectly maintained and just like the photos. The team that work at the villa cannot do enough to make your stay relaxing and comfortable - they are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast each day was fresh, and bountiful and with the perfect place to sit looking over the pool. And a short walk into Como - about 10 mins to town and 15 mins back (as it is uphill) - you do need to have moderate fitness to do the walk and there is not many cabs available. We have been travelling for some time and this was by far the best stay so far.

EVERYTHING.

If we could stay in Villa Platamone everywhere we go, we definitely would! From the hosts, to the house, the location, the fact that you can park your car there without any worries, the breakfast, it's simply perfect in every way. Any aspect you could possibly think of has been already well handled for sure. The attention to the details, the reception, the ammount of smiling and care is out of this world. We mostly spoke with Silvano who gave us a lot of great advices, from restaurants to places to visit, anything you need he can provide! He is a highly interesting person to speak with. Also, the Swedish lady (I don't think we got to know her name, we are sorry) with whom we spoke during breakfasts is a lovely and helpful person. She has plently of great insights as she has been in many different places (countries as well) and she is also a sommelier! We also met Lucia (Silvano's wife) but we only got to speak a little bit with her unfortunately, as she has written some books and seemed like a truly awesome person. This place makes you feel like royalty, it's like being in a fairy tale, absolutely incredible! You have the historical building and decoration with all the modern comfort. Overall perfect! Thank you so much and I hope I can see you all again soon!

Beautiful building with spacious and tastefully decorated rooms with a peaceful garden setting. Alex, Katy and Eleonora provide a personal service that made our stay truly memorable - and the breakfast is incredible. Would highly recommend!
