I stayed a bit more than one week in this very well located hostel. The day manager is the key to this place. He is so friendly and try his best to accommodate every guest. I have met nice guests. On the opposite of some previous reviews I had no issues with bathrooms as long as you not shower during peak hours (like everywhere).

- The place should be cleaned more often for the price we pay - The place does not offer tea or coffee (??? how is that possible in a hostel??) - The night manager overbooked the room I was suppose to stay in and it was difficult to find an arrangement. For the same price I had to go to a more crowded mixed dorm instead of the female dorm I had booked days before. Next day I was moved back to female dorm. - Don’t use their travel agencies. Your ticket is actually sold to another agency and you pay booking fee for nothing when you could directly book with this other agency.

Nothing special about this stay. It's a cheap place to stay, not great and not bad either

Everything is kinda old and squeaky, I arrived at night and it was impossible not to wake up my roommates (you also kinda have to slam the door to close it) I left early in the morning with the intention to come back before the check out time to have some rest, but i was told they want to collect my bedsheets already so I gave up on the idea

cozy, friendly, basically at the city centre. staff speak good English, perfect for international travellers. great value for the money, highly recommend!!

maybe soundproof could’ve been better. but this is rather a building issue. not a big problem though.

The hostel is a no-frills place that is just about fine for a short stay. The location though is very good. The day shift manager was pleasant.

The bed springs could be felt easily and it was uncomfortable. The yard was constantly filled with cigarette smoke from guests smoking.

An excellent location, very good value for money and friendly, helpful staff. Lots of travellers willing to offer tips and advice for day trips/tours from Almaty so perfect as a solo traveller looking to meet people.

Great location: walking distance to most highlights many seating places

Room was too small to open pur suitcases, bathroom never had toiletpaper

The location is great, close to Arasan Bathhouse, which is why I booked this place. The beds in the female dorm are really comfy but a bit shaky. There's a hangout area and a kitchen with all the necessary supplies. The staff speaks English.

Very comfortable, the other guests made my solo trip great. Bed was nice, no issues.

I would like to note Daulet who works at the reception. He is very attentive and helped in all necessary matters related to accommodation.

Hosts were nice and accommodation. Excellent location and bed was super comfortable. Very clean and nice relaxation room with comfy couches.

Downstairs bathroom didn’t have lock for shower, just shower curtain. Shower temperature often went boiling all of a sudden, quite dangerous.

Great staff, comfortable hostel, clean restrooms, cozy beds. Location can't be better. It is close to the park, Staray ploshad', club's street and supermarket, It is just 5 meters away. It is a very calm place, i would like to come back and stay there for a while. There are even Ping-pong, and an open terrace where people can chat or nap , free lockers and hot shower, fast WiFi, what else do you need)🤩

A little bit dirty kitchen, but it was mostly because of people that stayed there
