Great view of Lake Superior and only 3 mins to downtown Marquette!

Our daughter and son n law live and work in Marquette. Thirty family members came to the U.P. For a family trip.

It was a lovely place to stay as we explored the local parks and arts. Morning coffee looking out at the lake … beautiful!

We have been staying at this cabin when we visit Marquette for many years, and will continue to do so. Ita always clean, and cozy. I love the big window in the livingroom to view the lake.

Came to marquette to just relax and go to some of our favorite restaurants. The place was perfect. The house was well stocked with everything we needed.
The view from the living room was amazing.

This property reminded me of an old deer hunting camp with extras like hot water, a shower (mostly clean) and a TV that worked occasionally. This is a very tired property that really needs an overall updating. The location was a couple of minutes from downtown Marquette. The view of Lake Superior was beautiful as long as you ignored the 4-lane highway out front.

We loved being all but 2 miles from downtown and having a lake view. The firepit was such a treat. The outdoor space and lower level garage was perfect for us as cyclists. We would definitely stay again. Reasonably priced and their communication was top notch. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time at the “rock cut”

Great view of Lake Superior. Not accessible because if the highway but the deck makes up for that.
The tv didn’t work great, internet buffered a lot and slow to respond to remote control. Not there for the tv but nice to unwind with at night.
The location to town is very good.
Check in and out was easy and Tom is very good at responding to questions.

RCC ticked all the boxes for our MQT snow bike vacay. We loved the homey modest vibe of the cabin. Also, the hosts went above and beyond by providing charcoal and firewood. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin with us :) J and J

This cabin is perfect for a small family or a couple. I would definitely stay there again in warmer weather. My only issue was the thermostat. When we arrived the cabin was 42 degrees. We sat in out coast and got blankets until we had to leave for out dinner. We had a hard time regulating the temperature. We would put the temp to 72 at night were sweltering in the small rooms at night. Then the thermostat would turn off to 62 in the middle of the night and we would wake up cold. I have contacted the host regarding this and they stated they would look into it.

Small and cozy. It was exactly what our small group was looking for during our snowmobile trip.

We were right across the street from the trail. Plenty of trailer parking. I would definitely recommend this place!

First off, let me say I enjoyed my stay at the cabin, and would stay there again if I were ever in the area and needed a place to stay. The location is very nice, close to town, but still seems secluded due to the geography of the location. There is a highway right out front, but the car noise really wasn't very distracting, and was minimal late at night. You could easily hear the waves crashing on the beach across the road.
The cabin was clean when I arrived and overall the cabin was comfortable, with a comfortable family room furniture and beds. Heating worked well, and plenty of hot water. AC was a window unit in the 'master' bedroom. TV was newer than the one pictured, but even though hooked up to a cable box only got the most basic of local channels. Internet worked very well. However the cabin does appear to be a bit run down in areas, like missing a few tiles in the bathroom, etc. Kitchen has all the appliances needed (fridge, stove/oven, microwave and toaster) but the cookware left a bit to be desired if you plan on anything more than the most basic of cooking.
I think with a few maintenance issues taken care of, and perhaps some labels for some light switches and instructions on how to use the indoor fireplace the guest experience could be elevated to the next level. That being said, I definitely feel that I received good value for the price paid!

Property could use a deep clean. Bathroom was dirty. Had to clean tub and floor and walls. There where boogers on the wall in shower. The beds in both room where very uncomfortable and could use an update. I don't say that lightly, but one of the most uncomfortable beds I've been on. Did not use the TV or fireplace inside. Highway noise was noticable when outside or when house was quiet. Not a major thing but just want to note for those thinking it's off road a ways. Not a lot of privacy from room to room for those that want that. Could hear from room to room. Fire pit was nice and enjoyable but no fire wood is provided for that. Was given 1 log for inside fireplace. Full kitchen but did not use. Around 6 min to downtown Marquette. Easy to find and park. There is no protection from elements for vehicles fyi. Property management was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Wifi worked and had no issues getting into the place. Not handicap assessable. Have narrow stairs up from garage to main floor area. Would have been nice to have an extra lock on inside door going up to main area.

It is a cute little house with a great view of Lake Superior. You may have to look over US41, but watching the sunrise is amazing. Being across from the walk/bike path is very nice. And, only a few minutes from campus when you are visiting your student.

Very convenient to hit the South trails. It was a short 1.5 mile ride north on the paved lake bike path to Seth’s Trail (under the bridge) which heads to main South Trail Head. Small but cute place, perfect my wife and I.

Property is in a great location if you bring your bikes- right across the street from the Lake Superior-hugging paved bike trail. Property is older a little tired, but we’ll kept up.l and everything works. Nice fire pit, but road noise can be distracting.

We had such a great time staying right across the street from Lake Superior! We had our coffee out on the deck each morning and watched the Bald Eagles flying overhead. It’s such a cozy place to come back to each day after exploring the area! Thank you!

Quiet Cabin
Nice little cabin just outside of Marquette. It was nice to be away from the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet. We had several Whitetail Deer visit in the evenings. There is a nice view of Lake Superior just out the living room window or on the balcony. You can see sunrise over the lake and walk across the highway to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail. The cabin has everything you need. It’s nice to have a full kitchen instead of having to eat out all of the time. The living quarters are upstairs, the bathroom is small but has everything you need. The AC in the bedroom did a decent job of cooling down the whole cabin, there was also a box fan which we used to pull the cool air into the kitchen/living room areas. It was a nice little place to spend our vacation!

Fantastic location and great view!
Minutes to MTB trails, downtown Marquette, and Presque Isle! Pictured Rocks was only an hour in the other direction. Great location! Garage was perfect for bike storage. Fire pit area was an added bonus for a relaxing evening.

We came up for a wedding on Presque Isle. Stayed a few extra days to see the sights. This was a nice place to stay as it was close to downtown and places we wanted to see. It was great to wake up and go out on the deck to watch the morning sunrise over the water.
