easy to access Sheffield without being central. Rooms clean with plenty of room. Staff friendly.

Went in the bar at 9pm for a drink only to be told it was closing in 20 mins. Would have liked to have stayed longer to relax and finish the night off.

Great location for visiting Chatsworth House & Hardwick Hall. Superb, spacious room with polite & friendly staff. The cooked breakfast was really good.

We were in the dining room a good hour or more before the end of breakfast service but each day the pastries had run out & we were told there wouldn't be any more put out which isn't great if you only want the continental breakfast

The bed was a little small for two as use to a king bed at home. Larger bed would of been better.

The food in the restaurant is great and the staff work very hard to make it an enjoyable experience.

Staff were very welcoming. Evening meal was excellent as was the service.

We booked a double room but the bed was a small double with an additional single bed. The double mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs. The pressure of the shower was very slow but temperature was good. A good selection was available for breakfast, but on both mornings within 30 mins of breakfast commencing cossiants and pastries had run out. The staff were as helpful as possibly but could do with more staff.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the gardens of the hotel. There was plenty of car parking space in the grounds of the hotel.

We were disappointed at the service in the restaurant. We had booked in advance but our table was not ready for us at the appointed time. We had to wait about 20 minutes before our order was taken, and then a further 50 minutes before our meal was served. To be fair, the food when it did arrive was good: piping hot and tasty. The staff were friendly and apologised for the delays but only after I had pointed out how long we had waited. Breakfast was served from 8am the following morning but, when we arrived at 8:15 there were no rolls or croissants available on the self service table. When we asked about that, we were told that the kitchen staff hadn't finished baking, and we got the impression that we were being unreasonable for asking.
