Staff was very kind, helpful and very flexible. We had the whole place to ourselves so it was very nice for our group. The neighborhood seems to be very supportive to tourists.

180 years old and still comfortable. Bunk beds were surprisingly comfy , great living room, very friendly service

This property was in a great area, and the staff was very kind. The onsite restaurant was delicious. We had the entire property to ourselves, so our family was very comfortable.

Lovely, lovely place to stay, perfect for family. Living room and bathroom with plenty of space, small coffee shop out the front, secure and easily accessible. In the historic part of town which was absolutely beautiful but still close enough to restaurants and facilities including the train station which is really only a short walk away. Lovely surroundings with the pond and the layout.

The beds were great for the children but pretty uncomfortable for the adults, 4 single type bunk beds. The mattress was very very thin but everything was clean and nice so we got through it. Not suitable for a romantic couple but lovely for a family.

We loved the location, it was beautiful, we loved that we had the space of the lounge room and kitchen facilities which were perfect for the family. Lovely cafe out the front for refreshments and snacks. Bathrooms lovely including two showers with powerful warm water. Relaxing environment with outside garden area. We loved our stay!

The kids loved the cubby type beds but as adults we found them difficult to get in and out of and mattress so so very thin. Stairs were very steep so if you have some accessibility issues this is not the property.

we loved this place, old building in beautiful old part of town, solo occupancy, living room with outlook over koi pond, good supermarket a few blocks away, great restaurant across the road.

some people might find the beds a bit hard (2 mats on the floor/ply, much firmer than a regular mattress). have to go outside to get to the toilet (this was next to the room of bucks that we weren’t in). no problem in April but might be a bit cold to do this in winter.

The house was very charming and the location was great. Check in and check out were pretty easy.
