Lovely place, nice and clean and in a great location to the town.

There isn’t anything in particular that I didn’t like

Apartment was clean and modern with all the amenities. Also in a great location, just a walk up the steps froml the town

Check in could have been a bit better organized and check out felt quite rushed - 10am, not 11am as stated on the booking

Loved the ease in reaching the hosts. The apartment has been updated with light and comfort in mind, including the beautiful sun room and outdoor space. Appreciated the tea/coffee options, and the laundry! The location is excellent for visiting Kinsale (be aware of the many steps: 2 bedrooms (1 master en suite, and 1 bunk room+twin), and 2 bathrooms are UPstairs. And the view from the bathroom at the top of the stairs is amazing!). To get down to the village is a stair climb, and parking is tight (if you are not used to driving on the left, the streets and parking may be difficult/stressful, but also still possible.). You’ll need to double check store open hours, as many are seasonal or change hours on the day. We enjoyed Oscar Madison’s for watching soccer with a smaller crowd, The Supper Club, and Jo’s cafe for breakfast. If you need a gift to enjoy there or bring back: KoKo of Kinsale sells books of chocolate. We enjoyed the walk through town to The Spaniard (and view point). We enjoyed 2 nights in Kinsale, and had a lovely day trip to Cork and Blarney Castle/Gardens.

As novice drivers and first-time visitors: would appreciate a map that shows how to drive and park there, so there’s less confusion. The second night we parked down in the village, and brought the car up just to load and go.

The property is very well appointed and equipped with modern fittings and tasteful decorations. The location is excellent with the ability to quickly walk to shops and pubs.

The address/location are confusing. Old Stoney Steps is actually on Higher O’Connell street, and navigation would have been easier if this was made clear.

Location was perfect for getting to every part of the town.

Provision of tea/coffee, cooking oil,salt,pepper etc. Also shampoo, shower gel etc Ruth the caretaker was very helpful and easily contactable.

The weather but obviously out of your control. Would have been useful to have operating instructions for coffee maker.

The house is amazing! Everything was tidy and clean. There's a smart TV in the living room, albeit small, but it was good enough for us. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are small electric heaters provided if you're feeling cold.

The location was a bit hard to find but the host was really lovely and rang us several times to give us directions and waited at the junction for us.
