The personnel at the hotel was amazing (at the receptions and in the restaurant). It is very comfortable that the hotel has opportunities to give you a ride to the beach club (Mosquito playa). The breakfasts were the best!!! big portion and so delicious. It is not cheap hotel but I totally recommend!

Unfortunately we had a small room with one window and in the room was dark, but I saw that the hotel has better rooms :)

We stayed for four nights at Hotel Siesta in Holbox. When we arrived, Johanna was already waiting for us and welcoming us warmly. We also got Water, some vouchers and handtowls for refreshment. The room was very nice and clean. The water bottles in the room are always refilled and every evening somebody brings chocolate and wishes a good night. The location of the hotel is very close to the beach and to the center, but you don’t hear any noise. The restaurant KI, where we always had breakfast (included) was beautiful furnished, the waiters were just amazing and the food tasted very delicious, they also have veggie and vegan meals. As a guest of Siesta you can use the beach club nearby. It‘s a beautiful place and also here the waiters are so nice and welcoming. From 10 am to 5 pm a taxi brings you there for free (5 min ride). One time even the owerns of the hotel brought us to the beachclub. In our opinion this hotel has earned 4 stars. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly!

The prices are on the higher side but Holbox is in general quite expensive

Nice decour and clean rooms. Good but quite location. Great restaurant. Varm and friendly service both in hotel and restaurant. Very generous breakfast included- best ever! We loved this hotel.

The design of the hall and the gardens and swimming pool was very nice.

Our bed was too small for two people, my husband and I were struggling to rest in such small space. I think the bed was 140cm X 200cm. is better to have minimum 160cm X 200cm bed for a couple.

we loved everything about this beautifully small hotel. All the staff were so friendly, attentive, happy and would do anything for you. The cleanliness and decor was first class and the food was the best we had on the island in 7 days. Every morning we all chose something different for breakfast off a very long menu and each meal was amazingly tasty. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone to stay at Hotel Siesta Holbox.

Close enough from the center but quiet enough to sleep 😴 . beach is two short walks from the hotel. personally I don’t think is worth paying for a beachfront in this island. you can use a different beach club everyday or just explore the island. Breakfast is AMAZING! staff is very friendly and helpful. shout to the restaurant staff, genuinely nice!

The staff was super friendly and helpful! When we arrived for the check in after a long walk in the heat they welcomed us with water and fresh towels. Moreover, they accommodated our request to move to a room on the first floor, since we had erroneously booked a room on the ground floor. Another highlight is the free transfer to the beach and the possibility to stay at the beach club of the partner hotel, even with a small discount on consumption. We had a really great and relaxing time there!

The bathroom was much smaller than the ones we had in other places in Mexico. Not sure if that's common for Isla Holbox though..

The property was very clean, the restaurant for breakfast very tasty and all the staff friendly and helpful.

Best thing about this hotel is staff and location. Right in the centre of town, easy to walk to restaurants in the evening and to the beaches in the daytime. Staff are very friendly and personable, made us feel very welcome. Good breakfast selection included and bonus that beach towels are given.

Hotel was a little noisy at times - maybe expected with the location.

The staff was very helpful and nice. Every night they brought us some little things and good night. We also liked that the hotel is in the center but we had breakfast on the beach.

It was great! I changed my booking at the last minute to this hotel and I couldn't have chosen a better option. I told them that there are certain details that they shouldn't lose: the welcoming, how friendly they are, how they show you the room, the 8pm treat, etc. My room was perfect, good lighting and a bit isolated from some of the sounds of the renovations and construction of the restaurant they are just going to open. Not sure what will happen with the perk and option to go to Hamacas for breakfast and the free ride (that I only used on my last day). I went to Holbox to relax and I'm sure I did by staying here. Based on some comments I knew beforehand that the place was under renovations. As long as you are not there before 9-10pm and after 10am you will be fine. And this will be temporarily so maybe by the time you book this won't be an issue. There was one day there was low pressure with the water (maybe an isolated case considering a leak they had from one of the water tanks above the roof).
