Great location, nice room and good amenities. The coffee machine was very welcome!

A problem with the doors was a pain. Instructions said we could access from the outside but the door was actually locked from the inside making it impossible. There was a problem with the keyless locks which didn't recognise the code we were given and no obvious details of who to contact for help. Also no means of drying wet towels without having the heating on. We were only there 1 night so not a problem for us but would have been if we were there longer in the current cool, damp weather. But small niggles for a one night stay. Might want to sort the drying situation out for the future though!

Mark the host messaged me by a couteous text to remind me about the door code process. Room was very clean and tea, coffee, milk shampoo, etc all provided. Only a 2 minute walk to the town centre. Parking permit tickets also available. Pannal golf club was only a 10 minute drive away.

My single room was on the small side but it did the job for my 1 night stay. Everything else was great.

Extremely smart apartment hotel. Stylish room & very new quality bathroom & shower. Parking to the rear was a big bonus, and though first-come-first-served there was plenty of space. Two steps from the town and conference centre, yet soooo quiet! Coffee pods and a little bottle of milk waiting in the room! Nice touch. Free wifi and strong signal.

Access is remotely arranged with a code, but for me the room door hadn't been reprogrammed (technical glitch). Sorted with a few messages to Mark. He responded very quickly, politely & sorted the problem. Even the most expensive hotels with loads of staff have glitches from time to time. The issue is whether you can get hold of someone to fix it and how polite they are. The Belmont scored 10/10 on both counts - hence my review score.

The Belmont is conveniently located a short walk into town. The room was clean and comfortable.

I had month long stay at the Belmont and the staff kindly upgraded my room to be a little larger and more private. It was on the second floor and very quiet. It had a working kitchen with stovetop, fridge, and all the utensils, cookware, and plate ware needed to cook on my own. It’s a short ten minute walk to Harrogate center and the bus/train stations. Off road parking available in back, but on weekends the lot might get full. There is plenty of on street parking and the hotel provides permits in case the lot fills up. Staff are attentive and readily available via WhatsApp. It was a lovely stay and it made the month away from the comforts of home very pleasant.

Only quibble is that they do not have laundry on site, but there’s a laundry facility 10 minutes walk away. I only cared since I was lodging for four weeks. For a few nights, they provide everything I would need.

Facilities were well thought out, catering for every need and tastefully presented. Perfect location for a short stroll into the town centre. Much more preferable than a chain hotel...

The location was fine, close to the center.,

No breakfast was available, I was given a basement, and the comfort of a pillow and bed was not near what you get in hotels, and there was little or no possibility to contact the administration or the staff of the hotel.

It was warm, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower, The fact that there was a fridge in the room. Not having to use keys or a key card. Free, stable wifi. There was a socket next to the bed so I could charge my phone overnight and keep it next to me.

It was incredibly loud when other people arrived or returned to their rooms, even though the people themselves weren’t being noisy. The doors in particular are very loud when they shut. In my room, the mirrors were much too high, and there wasn’t a long mirror in my room. No one serviced my room after the second night, even though I hung the ‘Please clean my room’ sign on the handle. (I actually just wanted the bin emptied and the used tea bags removed.)
