Excellent location, and the room is very spacious and comfortable, better than most hotels at the same price range

The public hot spring bath is a bit small and gets crowded if a certain number of people attend at once. Not very idea if you are looking forward to public hot spring.

the room had a hot tub which filled from the hot springs. It was located just opposite the MRT station with easy access to shops and food. It was also within easy reach of some tourist attractions. The staff don’t speak lot of English (no expectation that they should given we were visiting Taiwan) but really make an effort to make you feel welcome and to help you as you go along. We had a mix up over our departure date - nothing to do with this hotel - and they quickly came to our rescue and sorted it out so the holiday wasn’t spoilt.

We stayed 3 nights in Royal Beitou. Great location, 2 mins walk from MRT, breakfast was good, but the manager’s attitude was rude. Beitou is famous for hot spring, that was the main reason we visited there. The hotel public pool was terribly small, unable to fit more than 4 people comfortably. Besides, it was insides a dark box without windows or good lighting, slippery everywhere, beware if you are a senior. There were 2 shower stalls which both have drainage problem. After the first person used the shower, the next person cannot avoid to step into the dirty water. After the first visited to the Public pool, we have no choice but only using the tub in our room. Poor housekeeping, dusty everywhere, hair on floor and the carpet in the toilet (I can’t understand why there were carpet in front of the toilet) There were also drainage problem with the sink, the tub in the room. The shower curtain has disgusting strain on it. We have been staying in many hot spring hotels but Royal Beitou is not qualified for a hot spring hotel and overcharged their customers with poor quality. This is my first time writing a bad review for a hotel, Hotels Royal has been in the market for years and has a good reputation, I hope the higher management will realize the problems and improve their service in the future.

Location was very good. Next to XinBeitou MRT. Very convenient and near all the amenities. Quality and healthy breakfast. Staff at reception was also very good in giving advice on where to go for food and places of interest.

A bit pricey

we liked the hot spring in the room, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. the spa was very nice and relaxing.

the ac in the room doesn’t seem work well sometimes. wish there were more options for breakfast. the lights in the rooms were a bit confusing.

I like those group exercises and the Gym.

I took lots of time for waiting the elevator.
