4.3
the only thing is the sound of the construction of front of the hotel. but they did change our room to be in a more quiet place.
4.3
our room has wonderful mountain View, helpful staff and restaurant is good value of money
it is not resort fault as many mosquitoes on the rainy seasons

the best thing is the trekking tour to the bay cave. the Vietnamese menu was fantastic
- they try to add 13% upcharge to the bill if you pay by card
- you need to order dinner 4h in advance (but then it’s fantastic)
- a bit chaotic reception (check-out lasted 45min) but in the end it is always working :-)
- currently heavy construction building a new road and a new larger resort just in front of the “view side” - ie view will be destroyed in the future
- watch-out: some hotel guides are great others try to squeeze extra money out of you whereever possible. tip : reconfirm with reception that all costs are included

Location and cleanliness ! Good value for money.
The payment process was a hassle, although it said on booking that we could pay by card, they only accepted cash or a bank transfer with 13% added tax. Would be good to let customers know in advance.

Thé best feature of the hotel : the views are amazing. we could stay all day on our little balcony. the room is quite big and the bed comfortable. the staff is nice but sometimes hard to communicate in English
and most important : they only take cash no credit card and the nearest ATM is 40 mins by motorbike (on a mountain road) !! no one had warned us and we were not the only guests really surprised by it
in the room, a mini fridge would be nice and the bathroom is super dark it needs more lightning.
i would not book the excursions from
the hotel I feel like they are way over priced but would try to get in touch directly with a local guide.
thé restaurant is not really good which is surprising for Vietnam but there are other restaurants better 2/3 mins walking distance

Pools and views are excellent, the staff are attentive and eager to please the guests. The food is absolutely incredible.
There is very little to not like about this place.
4.3
Corporate seminars took place during our stay, creating a lot of noise and spoiling a bit the charm of the place. Otherwise the place is beautiful and the staff very helpful.

Breakfast was ok. Lunch was good. Dinner we had up at the restaurant on the main road, which was great.
Nothing major. Bring your own soap and you own water / snacks.

Great location, clearly one of this first to establish themselves in this area they grabbed a prime spot looking out over rice terraces and the valley. The rooms were nicely decorated, the bed reasonably comfortable and the shower was hot.
Seemed to be a bit of a victim of it's own success. It was pretty busy when we were there, with a couple of large tour groups moving through and by the time it got to Saturday morning the place seemed full - the breakfast buffet was really crowded and noisy and not everyone had enough space to sit down. The style of room we were in was in a unit of four, with quite thin walls and just some fairly see-through bamboo screen separating your balcony from your neighbours. It also overlooked the pool area, which was popular and busy. So any idea of relaxing peacefully on the balcony to watch the view had to be abandoned due to the couple loudly arguing next door, or the family below blasting music on their speakers, or the tour group screeching at each other as they swam in the pool. All in all it meant that the stay definitely lacked the feeling of a "retreat". I had to ask a guest to stop playing children's TV at full volume from her phone during breakfast, another group had members who were clearing their noses and spitting into the water of shared pool, everyone was stopping and posing for selfies everywhere - it just lacked the calm I was looking for. Obviously these are all disturbances caused by the presence of other guests, which the hotel cannot necessarily control, just be aware that if you go at a weekend you might want to try a smaller homestay if you want something more peaceful.

The road back to the room at night is very dark.
There are some bad smells at the resort. The air is not fresh.

The location is amazing in front of the rice fields, you can walk around the area. The rooms are clean and the food is also good. The staff is very friendly and help you in everything you need.
All was good for us.
