The staff were amazing! From the welcome with a cold drink and a piece of cake, to giving us a packed lunch because we had to leave breakfast a little early to join our tour, they could not do enough for us. After booking out room they offered to arrange tours for us, which I did through the very helpful Mr Liam. I booked Ha Long Bay tours, car transfers and airport pick up with him and it was very reliably handled. He continued checking in with me after we left to make sure all went well with the tour, even though we only stayed one night. Best staff in Vietnam! The rooms were comfortable and elegant, and the hotel was a convenient and pleasant spot in Hanoi!

The upper floors were being renovated so you had to walk through a bit of a construction site to get to the sky bar.

Extremely helpful staff who helped us arrange two trips last minute (ha long bay and Ninh Binh) - they took care of everything and kept us updated throughout the whole process and even after we had checked out of their property. Ryan was fantastic and, like the other staff, went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. Breakfast was tasty and our room was spacious and very clean. Location was very central and walking distance to most places.

The staff and service was fantastic with special mention to Lily and Ritchie who were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, location great, rooftop bar a nice place to relax in the evening.

Location is superb. It's a 5 min walk to Starbucks, St Joseph's Cathedral, lots of little shops and eats. It's also a 15 min walk to the higher end areas with LV, Burberry, etc. It's a 5 min walk to the beautiful lake, restaurants, etc. The scenery around the lake is just gorgeous. We stayed for 7 nights, and walked there nearly every day. Staff service is excellent. They're patient, friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast is really yummy with lots of food options (for a boutique hotel, they really have a LOT of food choices). In-house spa service was great. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the therapists fantastic.

The rooms are a tad dusty. There are old curtains and carpets in the room, and everywhere you go, you see dust particles floating around you. Housekeeping didn't really wipe down the surfaces of tables, etc the week we were there, and by the time we left there was a considerable layer of dust on the dressing table and tv cabinet. You can hear sounds from the street pretty clearly throughout the night (honking, beeping, etc) and lots of heavy furniture shifting in the middle of the night (for some reason) - but that didn't really bother us as we all sleep like logs, but if you're sensitive to noise it may not be for you. There are also occasional mosquitoes around the lobby, lift, and inside our room, so the first few days I sustained a considerable amount of bites (over 10 of them). Finally caught two mosquitoes and killed them myself in the room so it was OK after that. This does not affect the fact that the hotel is still great, but if you're afraid of mosquitoes then do get them to perhaps spray the room or something before you go in.

Everything is perfect. Clean, air conditioned and friendly staff

The staff were excellent and went over and beyond to help. The location is excellent.

The hotel is overall more tired than the photos and our rooms were dark. The doors all have alarms that beep if you do t close it properly and there were door alarms beeping constantly which became very annoying. The rooftop bar was also not quite as photographed but nice.

The staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you. Especially Liam, who fitted a Vietnamese sim in my phone as I didn't have the pin to open the sim card tray. He advised us on negotiation tactics with the locals and always enquired as to what we had seen and where we had been. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the breakfast staff were efficient and friendly. There are 2 chilled fresh water jars in the lobby, filled with lemon orange and mint. Just what you need after walking around the streets in 34 degrees. The hotel location is excellent with Hoan Kiem Lake about 100 metres away and Note Coffee a similar distance. Pizza 4Ps is just around the corner and serves excellent Italian food. You just need to reserve a table in advance, which I did via Google. On checking in, you are greeted with cold towels, banana bread and cold watermelon juice and your bags taken to your room. On checking out, we were presented with Vietnamese coffee and filter as the staff waived us off from the front of the hotel. If we visit Hanoi in the future, we will definitely return.

Our only negative comment would be the loud music from the Sky Bar on Saturday night. It stopped at 11pm, and we were warned in advance.

From the initial welcoming drink of cinnamon and ginger and a slice of banana cake you were made to feel like a valued customer Room was excellent, well decorated and furnished - just what you need after a long flight The hotel provide an excellent map, with a description of the variety of local dishes, and recommended places to eat - this was a very welcome addition and I used it to good effect. I was departing early the following day and was presented with a takeaway package - so thoughtful and of excellent quality The roof top bar was very nice, with great views. I did find the drinks a little expensive, but it had a nice ambience, complete with patio heaters I would return to this hotel, as the staff are extra special.

호텔의 구조가 앞은 좁고 뒤로 기다란 형태라서 처음에는 실망스러웠지만 지내다 보니 나름 아쉽지만 불편하지는 않았다.

Window in bathroom/toilet!?? What's that all about?

The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Upon check in, the manager gave us lots of useful information about traveling in Hanoi. Since we visited Hanoi during Vietnam New Year, lots of restaurants were closed. The hotel prepared a list of restaurants’ opening hour in the neighborhood, which was really helpful. The breakfast is nice. Thought the items of buffet is not many, but the hotel offers several options which you may ordered from the kitchen. The location is great. It takes less than 5 mins walking from the hotel to the lake and lots of coffee shop & stores.

This hotel offers a delightful combination of a mini buffet and an à la carte menu, enabling guests to savor both the standard breakfast fare and some local delicacies such as “bun cha,” “pho,” and “xoi xeo.” The highlight of the breakfast, in my opinion, was the fresh juice station, and I particularly appreciated the frequent replenishment of food items. Despite its modest size, the hotel’s staff are remarkably efficient and attentive, striving to create memorable experiences for their guests. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to Hoan Kiem Lake makes it conveniently located for tourists eager to explore the Old Quarter area.

The hotel is well located and is walking distance from some main attractions. The decoration is also nice and very warm. All staff were very helpful ☺️

The only thing is that if you are a light sleeper, the room are not soundproof. We were in a family room on the second floor and we could here everything from upstairs. However on the second night it was much better after having reported it.

Fabulous location nestled between the old quarter and the French quarter. Room furnishings are stunning in capturing a modern take on a vintage aesthetic while staying true to local Vietnamese style. The features and services are plenty with a delicious buffet breakfast and an impeccable restaurant on the basement level with a quality of wait staff service that blows any other high-end restaurant out of the water. The check-in process was of the highest level; you are served tea and cake and a member of reception provides you ample information on local sights, eateries and markets, but most notably also local tips and what to look out for, such as how to bargain at the markets. In our stay we had the pleasure of interacting with staff in many areas of service including reception, food and housekeeping and each interacted happily and attentively. Their primary focus is ensuring you have an amazing stay. This is the pinnacle of service and quality in accommodation. Highly recommended - will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The hotel is in an excellent location in the old town, walking distance to everything you need and close to the lake. The staff are super friendly and we really appreciated the gift upon departure.

The rooms are quite dark and it could do with a slight revamp however it was a real taste of a town house in Hanoi.

This hotel was fantastic—the staff, the location, the breakfast, the look and cleanliness were all wonderful. It’s in a great spot and worth the splurge! I stayed in a few other hotels in Vietnam and this was by far my favorite. Thanks to the staff who made my stay so nice and made me feel welcome and cared for every day.

The beds are quite hard but you can ask for a pillow topper if you like.

es war relativ kühl als wir da waren (8 grad) und die Zimmer waren nicht aufs heizen ausgelegt.

Location is excellent. Henry and Chloe at reception are very good.

Only comment would be the music on Saturday night but that finished at 2300 but it was quite noisy having a room near the lift.

Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. It was good from check in to check out. Breakfast was fabulous.
