DOWNTOWN 2 BDRM LUXURY LOFT -- NEAR BEACH
Notre maison se trouve au deuxième étage d'un immeuble en copropriété de luxe - c'est un magnifique loft avec des plafonds de 14 pieds au centre-ville de Santa Barbara. L'appartement est meublé dans un style mixte du milieu du siècle avec tout le confort moderne, y compris une télévision de 72 pouces, avec / sans poids, eau filtrée, air climatisé et une terrasse avec barbecue à gaz et table d'extérieur. La deuxième chambre / bureau a un lit mural très confortable avec un tout nouveau matelas queen; le maître a une grande salle de bain attenante. La salle à manger peut accueillir 6-8 personnes; il y a aussi une véranda qui sert d'atelier de peinture et une tanière avec une télévision supplémentaire.

Ideal location within easy walking distance of State Street, Funk Zone, local Farmer's Market, the Beach, and other attractions. Indoor parking is a real plus. The condo is roomy and nicely appointed, the kitchen is well-supplied, and the unit offers good privacy from neighbors. The owner provided excellent communication access throughout the rental process and beyond. Highly responsive to all questions/concerns. Would definitely choose this rental again when we next visit Santa Barbara.

We had a great time in Phillip's condo. Location is great, in a very secure gated building. The property was roomy and wonderful for our family of 4.
Fully stocked home, lots of dishes in the kitchen, huge TV and Fast internet.
We were here for almost a week and the setup was great for us to WFH and enjoy the beach area and downtown shopping and restaurants.
Check in was very clear and super easy.
Very quiet condo, no disturbance from neighbors
Check out was even simpler.. No crazy rules about loading dishes, making beds, washing laundry etc..
(We took care of most of them since we wanted to leave the house in the same condition as we found it.)
Thanks for making our Santa Barbara trip a memorable one.

Nice, spacious apartment with high ceilings, open design with the main bedroom partly open to the living space (fine for us). Great location, and having two secured parking spaces was a big benefit. Philip was in touch with us, very responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.

Perfect Getaway
We loved this place from the moment we walked in. Unusually high ceilings and a big open main room — modern but warm. Big tv with apple controls and comfy couches. Everything is in good order, very clean and location is terrific with a coffee house downstairs. Walking distance to the beach as well as cool local restaurants. Owner was very responsive and gave helpful recommendations. Sorry to leave, look forward to returning next year!

Booked in advance. Hoping for a great 3 week get away to enjoy the beach and work. Did all of my homework and found no red flags. The minute I entered the house it was one debacle after another.

Stains and hair on what looked like dirty and aged sheets
Closet was filled with someone else’s clothing (owners?)
Opened the refrigerator and was filled with used food items many of the jars dated over a year old
Stains from liquid spill on the shelves
Opened bottles of soda, salad dressing, wine,
Freezer full of used/opened food
Rubber lining around refrigerator and freezer doors were COVERED with MOLD
All the kitchen cabinets were filled with used/opened food
8 ant traps along kitchen counter top in full view
Pet hair in the rug and dog bedding and toys in the apartment
Mold and mildew in the shower doors
The minute I discovered the filthy rental I contacted the owners and they took 3 hours to respond. They offered to have the same person that they claimed to have cleaned the apartment come that evening to “clean” again. I declined to stay in this hazardous environment and Vrbo helped relocate me. With the help of over 60 photos the rental was deemed a health and safety hazard by Vrbo. I ended up at a hotel one hour away on a holiday weekend for the first night. I had to return the keys to the rental the following day. I arrived after the “cleaning” person was done. The rental did not look much better. The place needs a very deep clean and review by Vrbo for quality standards. Either the owners have a different definition of clean and rentable or they are taking the word of their cleaning person that is seriously taking advantage of their absence.

We have stayed in many Vrbo properties , and sometimes they don't live up to the expectations that you get from the pictures. Well, this place is the opposite - it is way better than what you see in the photos! We were absolutely WOWED when we first walked in - it is super spacious (15' ceilings!) and modern, with wood floors, fully equipped with high quality furniture, linens and kitchen items. Air conditioning, too. Very clean, excellent downtown/beach location. Highly recommend. 2 things to be aware of though, not necessarily deal killers: It is very close to the Freeway which you will hear with windows open, but not hear with windows closed. And we really would have like some kind of blackout window covering in the master bedroom - there is full daylight at 6am. This is shown in the photos, but we like to sleep in on vacation, so bring sleep masks - we did! But this place is far superior to others in the neighborhood by far!

SB Paradise
Can’t say enough good things about Philip and Christopher’s place. We feel truly lucky to have stayed here. The location is incredible right in the heart of Lower State. 10 minute walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants all around. The condo is in the same building as a boutique, a coffee shop, juice shop and a workout studio across the way - what more could you need?! Driving distance to Montecito where we did some great hikes.
The place itself was super spacious and gave my boyfriend and I plenty of room to work remotely.
Could go on and on… loved every second!

Excellent Santa Barbara Stay
This was the perfect place for a two week stay to explore Santa Barbara and the surrounding areas. Walking to everything you need, including the beach, but also felt like home after a full day out and about. Philip was a wonderful host and available to help as needed, answer questions, provide recommendations, etc. Definitely would stay here again!

I am a travel medical professional along with my fiance. We stayed at this location for 3 months and loved every minute. My fiance and I love to explore restaurants/breweries, shops and generally love to get immersed in any new city we visit. This was an IDEAL location to do so. We were a very short walk to any destination on State St (Santa Barbara's main drag) as well as to The Funk Zone which is an area with many wineries, breweries, restaurants that became our favorite part of town. We both travel for work and the proximity to the interstate made travel easy. Also, while being centrally located, the area surrounding the apartment is tucked back enough so that it's quiet and we were not disturbed by the increased volume that State St. gets on the weekends. Communication couldn't have been better between us and the owners. Any small issues that arose were handled immediately. We were sad to leave this place, and would have loved to stay longer if able. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The unit is spacious, comfortable, stylish and convenient. Both beds were provided a great night’s sleep and the couches were stylish yet truly comfortable! The building is beautiful and well appointed, with Spanish tile and gorgeous flowering greenery throughout the walkways.
Bakery, coffee shop, juice bar, yoga studio, spa and renowned taco shop, all steps from the unit.
Parking spot in garage for unit kept the rental car safe and accessible.
