Nothing
It was not clean at all. Especially bathrooms, beds, and sheets were dirty with hairs and spots and smelly. Bad experience, avoid it

Fastest wifi I had experienced in 4 months! I had a dorm all to myself and it was cool, comfortable, and spacious. There is a full wardrobe so you can hang your clothes and organize your things perfectly! I appreciate this so much as living out of a suitcase is tiring and something as simple as a bookshelf makes a huge difference to me! The staff was charming and accommodating. I had my clothes washed and she did a great job and folded them nicely. The front desk man helped me to arrange a shuttle to Swakop and even helped to put his number down for them so they could call his Namibian number when they arrived at 6a. He went above and beyond to help and I appreciate this :) Everything was very clean as well in the kitchens, rooms, and bathroom. I would recommend 10/10 and stay here again when I'm in town.
nothing!

Very up to date and modern facility. Friendly staff and very accommodating
The biggest issue was the lack of a fan in my dorm. I understand that Windhoek doesn’t get terribly hot, but it’s still located in a desert, plus it’s summer. I’ve been using hostels for 30 years, and I never been in one without the dorm having a fan in the middle of summer. Even Canadian hostels had a fan to use in summer. I’m not asking for air conditioning, just a simple ceiling fan like they have installed at Chameleon Backpackers down the road. It would be nice to have a fan to blow away the mosquitoes at night, which was another problem I had staying in the TaTe Village dorm. Another minor issue that came up happened during the night when a bunch of rowdy girls showed up in the middle of the night, and kept me up by their yelling, shouting and playing music. TaTe Village should enforce a no noise curfew for certain hours of the night. I mean come on, it was 2 to 3 o’clock in the morning! Other than those issues, my stay was pleasant

Everyone at Tate Village are as helpful as they can be and in the background the management is always looking how to improve things. The management here is very proactive.
The place is secure, it has parking and the kitchen is excellent. The bar is brilliant and the place is clean. The desk in my room is of an excellent size (you just have to learn how to not bang your head on the bunk above!) and the plugs are sensibly located. Everything is very practical.
I liked everything at Tate Village but I must say that I found the bunk-bed ladders quite painful on naked feet. (So bring some slippers.)

We had a great stay at the TaTe Village. The pool and the outside area were really nice. We especially appreciated the good wifi.

Neat and clean. The stuff gave me the first aid promptly. They organized a well shuttle to the airport.
The terror of breakfast at 7.30h. I was told I was late for the breakfast at 7.40h, but was eventually served. The next day I was waken up at 6.56h by the noise of preparing the breakfast from the kitchen. Why salty eggs and sausage are served with toast covered with (sweet) jam?

I liked the employee, I was well hosted.
The blankets are too small for an elderly man, the night was discomforted by that.

Nothing
I booked online via booking.com and when I was on my way to the place I asked for directions.
I was chatting to someone from Tate who gave me directions etc., When I got there to check in there was no one to do the check-in, but only received a call and the person stated that they were unfortunately fully booked.
Was very disappointed and inconvenienced because I spent hours getting directions from them but only to get there and being told that!n

I enjoyed the location, safety and cleaniness of the place and it was new-brand furnished and breakfast was included. Toilet was clean and good for backpacker and I have good conversation with other visitors.
They won't provide any kind of towel or bath gel and you have to provide by yourself, and the room was a little hot, and opening the window was very complicated and there is not air change inside, so I won't imagine how could it be sleeping in summer.
When I have arrived I've been welcomed by Tinashe, he was great and pleasant, and I had good conversation with him and the owner of the place. I asked for tour guide and they promised me to help sending information before the night and the owner said me unless I would find other solution I could have a trip with him, explaining me that unfortunately I arrived the week where there wasn't any local guide.
Tinashe gave me his whatsapp number and promise me to give more information, but after that moment he just disappeared and it was impossible to get in contact with him for any relevant topic.
The day after the security was helping me to get a taxi service to go to a national park, he gave the first offer for 99 USD dollar, and after I said. "No thanks", he came back to my room proposing me with kind of insistence other taxi service, same service but for 600 Namibian dollar (around 35 USD) and after an hard conversation with the taxi through the security man phone I feel unsafe to accept because the microphone wasn't working properly and the taxi screamed "Talk like a real man".
Fortunately, I have meet in the kitchen room Michelle and his boyfriend that proposed to help me and the security wasn't supposed to offer this kind of services, but the boyfriend was not talkative and he just accepted only after I have said the price that they proposed to be before, reducing just of 100 (500 N$), and in that moment I felt a little strange. I accepted it and I felt very safe during all the trip and they come back in time to bring me to the hotel
The latest day, I was asking where could I leave my luggage during the day before to go to the airport, and it was like a flipper asking to the security, cleaning service and I was just disoriented because of the absence of Tinashe, but after the security guy took the responsibility I left everything inside my room and I got everything in the afternoon.
