Great communication with owner great clean room did not book breakfast as we were in a hurry

Everything except location which can be tricky for those who aren't driving and will rely on public transport. However, it is quite accessible but it can be difficult for families without a car. There is a bus stop just opposite to the lodge though.

Excellent location: next to Science Park and 10 min walking to the Business Park. Also, bus stop to the town centre is on the opposite side of the road.
The bathroom is small but just enough, doesn't feel tight.
Due to the space between the 2 beds the room felt a bit crowded, you need to sit on the bed to use the small desk.

This room was spacious and bright due to the 2 windows.
The bathroom is small but just enough, doesn't feel tight.

It was very noisy from other guests and hosts moving around, opening and closing doors.

Easy to check in, very clean, TV and internet working to allow for relaxation, good parking, absolutely perfect accommodation.

Nice quiet stay only 5 rooms so not lots of people coming & going. There were buses into Cambridge City centre running frequently but if you like walking it was quite easy as well. The room was clean with ensuite & tea making facilities was what we expected when we booked.The breakfast menu was excellent & the owner Charlotte was very pleasant.

Expected bed and breakfast, but was told breakfast wasn't on as building works were being done. Only to find people having breakfast downstairs when we went out

Another pleasant stay at Alder Lodge. The room was clean as usual and the extra fan was a bonus.
