The location was great, right on the beach. Shower to wash sand off. Pool was amazing. We loved the spaces, bedrooms and kitchen was big for 16 to eat together-but the house is a little run down. It’s for sale so maybe the current owners aren’t putting money into it anymore. Doors stick bad , gutters and siding falling off.

This property management company, despite what they say, does not care to fix ongoing issues.
- The house was very dirty on arrival. Trash was everywhere; empty liquor bottles under the beds upstairs. The floors throughout were sandy, dirty bedspreads, linens clean but stained and of cheap quality. We spent two and a half days cleaning the house just to get it to a reasonable level of cleanliness. Days of vacation wasted particularly for grandma who was very concerned about the health of the children. We vacuumed and collected huge amounts of sand, cleaned all of the cabinets and drawers, wiped down and sanitized surfaces, mopped hardwood floors. Cockroaches, dead and alive, were present throughout the home all week.
- The pool area was not maintained/functional. We called these problems in to the management company, but no one ever came to fix the issues. By the end of the week, 20 out of 24 in our group had significant sinus/ear/eye infections. Numerous doctors confirmed that the likely cause of the infections was bacteria from water.
- There was a large amount of grease built up in the grill. When we lit it, a large fire broke out which we had to put out using the hose.
- The upper porch was in disrepair. We didn’t use it, and that was a shame because the views from the porch would have been excellent.
This was the worst VRBO we’ve ever experienced, and it was a shame because it had so much potential. We spoke directly with Elliott and expressed our grievances. After much persuasion, they waived our cleaning fee and reimbursed us 16% of the rental cost. We think a 50% reduction in price would have been more appropriate as we lost two days of vacation due to cleaning efforts, fell ill due to unsanitary conditions, and missed out on what would have otherwise been some spectacular views from the second-floor deck. I have read the other negative reviews that Elliott received and noticed that Elliott responds to each negative review by trumpeting their own “superior” track record of quality and empathy. In other words, they claim quality yet ironically give little acknowledgement to valid complaints. I find this particularly irritating and anticipate bristling at their impending reply to this review. The staff at the office are friendly, but being friendly is not enough! They need to ensure their homes are safe and clean. Bottom line, this is not a house I would ever rent again while under the management of Elliott. Do NOT rent this home!

Great Location
The location was spot on! Right on the beach with a private pool as well. The house was not very clean when we got there which was disappointing when you are paying hefty cleaning fees. The pictures made the house look much nicer than it was in person. The two dishwashers were great. It stormed while we were there and the windows leaked as well as the doors/ceilings in some spots. We paid to have the pool heated in was cold when we got there called and was told it would take a few days before it warmed up, which was disappointing. It seemed like the pool heater only worked if the hot tub was not also on. We had a great time but would probably book a different house if we came back.

Photo on website show a spectacular remodeled house but upon arrival shows ware and Tare broken furniture broken glasses left on counter dishwasher full of dishes some not cleaned advertised as a luxury rental but comes with no luxury upgrade like linen service

Great Place
The Lily Pad was everything we needed it to be. The pool and hot tub were awesome. We paid to have it heated (we did need to call to figure out how to heat it). Basically each bedroom could have its own bathroom (only 2 ensuites though). The internet connection was not good. That needs to be upgraded. The view from the balcony is great! We would stay there again.

Unpleasant visit
Tvs broke until 3rd day, weeds and sticker bushes grown up so much we had to constantly watch the children outside, kitchen so dirty on arrival we had to clean from ceiling to floors before we could use. I have pictures of the dust and webs hanging from ceiling, plus the piles of dirt and food on kitchen floors. Broken chairs around pool, grill broken, trash everywhere outside near pool upon arrival. I called 4 times different days to speak to the rental office, finally on day 3 someone came out to replace and fix TVs. Paid for the pool to be heated , it never was so it was cold the entire week, I did finally get a refund on that almost 3 weeks after stay. Hot tub only semi worked, and wouldn’t heat at all the last two day’s. When it rained/stormed the windows upstairs leaked.
Definitely not as nice as the pictures online, and nowhere near worth the money for a week.

Great price for house on the beach
Fit 4 families comfortably. Pool and hot tub were large enough to fit most of our group at the same time. The kids loved to have a separate area upstairs. Location was great and price was amazing for being beachfront. We did see some cockroaches in the house during our stay.

Very spacious and roomy for large families.
This is a wonderful home for large families. The pool and hottub were amazing with spectacular views of the ocean. We enjoyed the beach daily and awoke to the sunrise from our balcony.
Recommendations on property.,
We would recommend a tv in the large dining common area and the washer did have an issue that needed attended to.

Lilly Pad review
The property was set up very nicely-- good size rooms-Ocean out the back door. But- We were really surprised and disapointed at how run down the property was... chipped paint---weeds everywhere around the property. The shower in the Master bathroom up stairs-- had no ledge or anywhere to put toiletries... just not set up very well. It was not clean-- we basically had to clean before anyone was comfortable staying there. the check in process was a nightmare- it does say check in is 3:00--7:00 -- but at EVERY other stay we have used... that meant at MINIMUM the earliest you can check in is 3:00 NOT-- you might not be able to have access to your property until 7:00 PM--Our whole family basically lost 1/2 a day of our vacation. There was not a TV in the Main area downstairs as advertised also....not that we were spending time watching TV....but at night with the Kids it would have been nice. I do not think that I could recommend this company in good faith to anyone. I feel as if we were duped!
