Beautiful home right across from Scarborough beach! My sisters and I had a wonderful stay and booked right away for next year! We had a cooler week so it was perfect to shut off the a/c and let the ocean breeze thru the house! Looking forward to going back! Thank you!

Stayed with my spouse, 3 adult sons (2 of their spouses) and 2 grandchildren (19 months and 3 months). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is so close to the beach we went frequently. Bearing able to see and hear the water from the house was fabulous. We had an issue with the refrigerator and the owner was quick to respond and address.

This house is perfect for a vacation get away house. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. I've rented houses before and this is by far the best one . I highly recommend this beautiful home .

Enjoyed our stay in Narragansett this week. House in superb location right across the street from Scarborough State Park Beach. Great seeing the ocean from two house decks everyday. House was very comfortable for 7 people. Owners were great. Always available when needed. Definitely would rent this house again in the future.

What a terrific beach house! There could not be a more perfect place to enjoy Scarborough beach and the surrounding Narragansett area. I cannot say enough superlatives about our hosts Rich and Lisa! They were accommodating and gracious in every way. We recommend the location, the accommodations and the hosts! As we packed for our upcoming holiday at Scarborough beach we were following closely the track of tropical storm Henri. With each item we checked off our packing list the news became ever more depressing. When we were finally packed and ready to depart it was reported that Henri was expected to gain strength to a category 1 hurricane and for the first time in over 30 years directly impact the Rhode Island and New England coastal areas. It was at this point we reached out to Rich and Lisa the owners of the Narragansett beach house where we were to spend the next week. Rich promptly called me back and was aware of the ominous forecast. He offered us the flexibility to cancel if we were concerned but assured us that the house would be a great place to witness the event in safety. Albeit power could be lost as the winds were expected to be strong enough to impact power lines. As you might have guessed- we decided to take a chance and we are glad we did! Although Henri gave us quite a show on the beach and we did lose power for about a day the rest of the trip has been perfect! Rich and Lisa checked on us throughout our stay and made us as comfortable as possible. They even brought over some tea lights and a lighter which came in handy when we lost power. During our stay we enjoyed the beach, Newport, Cliff Walk, Breakers mansion and the best seafood!! It was my wife and I alone for most of the trip but the house was roomy enough to accommodate my daughter and her friend when they joined us for a couple days! We all had a great vacation and I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonder time at the house - but you can tell that it is just a rental and not used by the owners often. The beds are not comfortable to sleep in and creaks every time you move - the couches have been around a while and need replacing. but the convenience to the beach was the best part and we enjoyed our stay overall.

Steps to the beach. Spacious and clean. Owner was very responsive when we needed. We love Narragansett and this house was great.

The owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. He even bought a Keurig for the house when I expressed concern about the type of coffee maker provided. The house was in great condition with a perfect location, beautiful view, and it had everything you need for a beach house stay. My family and I will definitely be back!

As always….loved our time away. It’s a spectacular home (always spotless) with plenty of room for our family to meet and enjoy time together. Kids especially enjoyed watching bunnies in yard and in neighbors yards, too!! Looking forward to 2022!!

The house was super clean and well equipped with dishes and cookware as well as a propane grill. You can walk 150 yards to the Scarborough State Beach. Open concept kitchen-living area is great for family gatherings.

This property is stellar. Very happy with the place, the location and the owner. The only thing that would have made it better is if we'd had two weeks instead of one. Great value.

Amazing

We so thoroughly enjoyed this property! The location is fantastic with quick access to the beach and restaurants. The place was clean, comfortable and the outside was as nice as the inside. We will definitely return to this location. Rich stopped by our first day to check on us and make sure we were all good. Great times!

At first I was wary about crossing the road (twice - in both directions). But, RI drivers are the best. They stop immediately, so getting to the beach was a breeze. And, we didn't have to pay to park. Far away enough from the road (so little noise), but close enough to enjoy the views. It's difficult to find places with queen beds. When listings imply 2 people in a full bed, they've obviously never done that for a whole week!. So, 3 queen beds was perfect for our group. We did only use the upstairs full-bathroom (closer to bedrooms). However, it looks like the lower level (with the other full-bathroom, washer/dryer) is to be renovated. It would make a great rec room, and guests would be more likely to use the bathroom there. Overall, a great place to stay.

Our family had a great stay at this house that is amazingly close to the beach house. We walked into a clean house with an easy check in process. Rich even stopped by to say hi and see how it vacation was going. Great time at an amazing house.

Spacious, clean, great location - perfect for our family vacation!

This is our second year at this home and its perfect!! location, room, its CLEAN and owners are awesome. We plan on coming back many more years to come!!!

We stayed here, with our two children and my in-laws, the first week of June and this house was perfect for us. It has a lot of outdoor space (decks off the bedrooms, covered porch in the front and open deck in the back) and we used them all day for morning coffee, snack time, and a few meals. The view of the beach from the house is amazing, the house is new construction and was neat and clean. It is central to everything: we thought we were running late for the Block Island Ferry but we parked 5 mins after leaving the house and made it in plenty of time. There are a lot restaurants and ice cream shops nearby, but we ended up having most of our meals at the house, grilling out back. We would recommend this house to anyone - it is great deal.

We have been renting in the Scarborough area for 20 years and this is, by far, the house that we will come back to!! We were delighted.....I always enter a beach house armed with Lysol spray and Clorox wipes......but I was delighted to not have to use them on arrival this time. The house was clean and airy. We had a wonderful and very comfortable week!! The "s'more kit" left for us was such a sweet touch. Our nieces and nephew were thrilled with the special treat when they came to visit. The owners responded to any and all questions promptly and attended to every detail. Thanks Rich and Lisa for sharing your wonderful house!! We look forward to our beach vacation in 2014.

Our family absolutely LOVES this home. This was our second year staying at this home and we are already looking forward to going back next year. The home is spacious, clean and inviting, has all the conveniences needed and is centrally located to a multitude of activities. The property's proximity to the beach could not be better, literally across the street. Perfect if you have small children. The heated outdoor shower is a nice added bonus! The owners are wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. They are very accommodating. We strongly recommend this location to your family. This was one of the nicest homes that we've ever rented ! It was extremely clean, well maintained, and spacious. The views from the rooms and decks were spectacular ! It was just a stone's throw to Scarborough Beach across the street, and the owners were so welcoming and easy to work with, too. The Scarborough/Narragansett area has so much to offer, and everything we needed was very close by....restaurants, grocery stores, attractions, etc. We enjoyed our stay so much, that as soon as we got home, we booked it again for next year. The house is by far the best place I have ever rented as a student living in Rhode Island. Living spaces are very generous, and the view is incredible. I woke up every morning to a spectacular sunrise over the ocean. There's also plenty of storage space for students who live far enough away from home that they take everything with them. My favorite part of the house is the kitchen. It's spacious, well-equipped, and capable of hosting a small group for dinner. The house is very well-kept, and in the spring the yard is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet. I would recommend this property to anybody who asked. The house is also very well-insulated and adapted for the climate. Between three people in the winter I spent no more than $200 dollars over five months on electricity and heating costs combined. The landlord is a great guy, too. He's very personable and easy to get along with, and there was never an issue with him. I've been away a month only, and I'm already missing the house a lot. I can't wait to move back in September!
