Het personeel was aardig en begreep totaal waarom ik niet tevreden was toen ik het ze uitlegde bij het uitchecken

We hadden inderdaad een rustige kamer gevraagd, dit was totaal niet gelukt omdat we pal aan het parkeerterrein de kamer hadden op de begane grond. Iedereen die aankwam of wegging hoorde wij. Voor de prijs hadden wij een simpele kamer verwacht maar deze was ronduit vervallen, smerig (door oud te zijn, iets wat niet snel schoon te maken is) en kapot. Het gordijn viel bijna van de rails, er zat een gat in de muur boven het toilet, het bureau was behoorlijk beschadigd en de badkamer was verder ook nog behoorlijk vervallen en daardoor niet hygienisch. De volgende ochtend zag ik pas dat er ook nog een gat in het beddengoed zat.

Dit keer was het niet zo schoon en de kamer bleef warm ondanks kachel uit. Geen korting ondanks dat ik er vaker kwam. Bovenstaande maakt prijs/ kwaliteit niet in evenwicht.

Nothing apart from the staff and the food. I have to mention that this place is a motel and well past its hay days. I don't think this place has been a hoover and cleaning products in years. Pictures are probably 20+ years old and looks nothing like this real life. Despite this, staff members are exceptionally good. May be they know how bad the place is and they sympathise with you. Another good part was the restaurant. Not cheap but the food was great and chef there is friendly and knowledgeable. We were booking in for 2 nights and with in 10 mins we wanted to check out. No aircon and the room is filthy, bathroom not clean, cobwebs everywhere, the mattress is full of springs.... I can go on about it. Anyway we had to stay there for that night as it was quite late but the next day morning we checked out and the staff offered us a refund for the 2nd night. To summarise, great staff members and good restaurant but pricey. Bad and unclean rooms. I won't be staying there again. I do feel for the staff members though.

It was on a walkable distance from the nearest Metro station and Rotterdam Alexander. Breakfast was okay.

The hygiene was bad in the room. One of the days they forgot towels after changing. Bring earplugs because it's at a main road so you can't leave the window open. Sadly no air-conditioning so it's hot in the room. Place in general needs to be renovated. Photos on booking looked way better.
