Mould in the bathroom is never a good thing

The apartment itself was nice, clean and well organized. We had mostly what was needed.

The problem was the area around . Too much trash out the door from the neighbors and quite dirty streets. The internet was also very poor.

I don't normally write reviews but we rented this place based on the 9 score on booking dot com. Had we booked it as a 7 or 7 - I'd take some of these issues on the chin. This property is not a 9.. more like a 6 maybe a 7 for some. It was liveable so we stuck with it. Its DEFINATELY not 12 mins from Oxford street - more like 25 mins by car (assuming you could park) 45 mins by walking / tube This property is managed by a company in Norway - any problems and you need to call a +45 number. Not clear when booking. We booked through Booking.com but felt they wanted us to manage on their rentals portal after paying (e.g. arrival time) To manage the hot water for the shower you have to turn down the boiler! Only 3 large towels (there were 4 of us) The photos show a wire sticking out of bed / mouldy shower (no extract fan), drawers that don't open in the cupboard, fridge that freezes stuff.

The location was perfect. Ideal for shops and tube to the centre of London. The cost for our family of 5 was just great too. The flat we had was onto the garden and that offered a peaceful sanctuary after a busy day out and about.

There were a couple of snags but after messaging the host they were addressed. Hosts communication could not be faltered.

All was very clean , well organized, and everything provided for , you wanted for nothing . That’s rare in rented accommodation nowadays , very professional.

The heating took a long time to heat up and had tendencies to stop working during the day .

It was clean and really cheap.

It was advertised that 6 people could stay there but it was a squeeze with 4 of us. As we spend most of the day out, that was not a huge issue though.
