Dealing with booking.com !! Had to shorten the stay by one night due to airline delays/ cancellations. Impossible to modify on the booking.com website. A total waste of my business time. Staff at hotel were brilliant but we had to modify the booking with booking.com. Terrible experience until I finally found the number of an English office where a polite lady finally helped me. The website is a shocker and the software needs an overhaul.

nice neighborhood, great pool and gym, the staff was great (room and pool service). breakfast was ok.

windows were a bit old, noise kept coming in from hallway and also there was wind coming in from a small crack.

definitely does not deserve five star status, no five stars service. eg. There’s no irons in the room and no complimentary ironing. They charge you if you want something ironed only find out when you leave. room is basic and dated. no service from front desk when you’re checking in your bags from the taxi into the hotel and definitely no help in getting taxis.

The location was great. Lots of cafés, restaurants and stores near by. The room was large. Great bed and pillows. We enjoyed the wine tasting each night and the complimentary glass of wine. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

The WiFi was terrible. Don't expect to be able to have zoom calls or do any real work online. It looks like they need more bandwidth or better routers.

Beautiful hotel, staff was great

Stayed 3 nights.A/C didn't work properly We were offered another room. No difference. The room smelled like sewerage they did try to fix it. Didn't help Coffee machine with coffee we were charged for it.

Everything about this hotel was above expectations. It was well located near lots of restaurants and parks. Everything is of a walking distance.

The only surprising issue was that one when I came back from my winery tour, I discover that housekeeping had plugged the kettle with the "on" button pressed which is utterly dangerous. I never use hotel kettle. I have also never encountered such a situation. I cannot believe that this was a negligence; I believe that the employee did that on purpose for whatever the motivation was. I mentioned the incident to Reception.

good location, stayed after a recommendation

we were overcharged for a taxi arranged by hotel from Diplomatic to our next hotel. It was more than double for a similar standard car.

The staff helped fix all the problems caused by Booking.com. I had contacted Booking on multiple occasions and they did not help resolve the problems they caused or respond. Thankfully the hotel staff fixed the problems and averted my stay from being a disaster.

The service offered by Booking. Com. Serious errors with the bookings and failed to respond to multiple requests for help. I have stopped using Booking now as a result and am now booking direct with hotels.

Nice hotel, spacious room, pool/sauna, good breakfast selection

Booked for New Year's Eve; however, the hotel had not notified us that pre-booking was needed for the restaurant and we almost ended up with substandard options for dinner (sandwiches/salad by room service or snack in the lobby). All open restaurants outside were also fully booked. Eventually, the restaurant manager offered a solution which more or less rescued the evening; however, the staff we contacted before simply did not offer anything which should not happen in a 5-star "luxury" hotel.
