The staff at the reception was cool and not very welcome. we ordered a room for 2 people, but the room was so small, the bed is only a 1.2-meter bed, and it is NOT for 2 people! and it is NOTHING like the pictures show on booking.com. I felt cheated, hardly have 2 people to sleep in that small bed. we ordered for 2 nights, although we raised the issue to the hotel on the first day, but they just said, to send an email to discuss the issue! how can that help with our situation? room and facilities are old and not comfortable at all. terrible experiences!

The staff were very nice.

The rooms electrical plug sockets kept blowing. We didn't have any power for charging phones or hair dryer. I reported it the first day and they were very quick to cone and reset it but it tripped again whilst we were out. I had to go to reception to report it as the phone didn't work.

The windows opened in the room so lots of fresh air. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. We slept so well!

We didn't have any shampoo in the supplied toiletries and house cleaning didn't replace any used tea cups and glasses in the room although they cleaned the rest of the room. Some of the room lights didn't work and the Aircon was temperamental.

Mattress on bed was very soft and the topper added didn't help much.

For a 5-star rated accommodation, I would have expected more. The staff were lovely but I wouldn't recommend or stay for future trips.

Location was really good. Reception and the staff was friendly. Room size was OK

1st of all - free wifi. This is not a proper way to give for a customers unsecured wifi, where everyone can connect without any pass. Asked for a secured wifi - extra charged :) 2nd. Bathrobe was full of long black hairs. Drooped on the ground for a cleaning lad to change - unfortunately it was taken, but new wasn't delivered. Even for a second day. 3rd. Booked a room for 2 adults + child. Got 140cm bed for all 3 of us :)) 4th. Mini bar - there was no mini bar :)

Very few staff around even on the entrance desk. Nowhere for late drink on arrival.

Stayed in the Barbican rooms. No hot water available for the first 30 hours of the stay. Eventually got relocated to another room but this took great effort on my behalf.

Cold showers, The kettle also did not work as the switch was broken.
