First time using a yha and I as very impressed. The bed was comfortable, everywhere clean, kitchen facilities brilliant and the staff very obliging and friendly. Fabulous location

location is excellent, cleanliness is excellent.
Room Prices are quiet expensive as it is a hostel & not hotel. it was freezing in the room until I asked member of staff to turn on heaters otherwise we could have slept in freezing cold
check in is 17:00 & Check out is 10:00 AM so if booked 1 night this means 17 hrs for spiky price, unfortunately this hostel was Better for the past years.

staff very welcoming. we had a 4 man room. it was well lit, clean and spacious. the room was warm and comfortable. beds were comfortable too. 2 toilet and 2 shower clean, shared among 3 rooms on the floor we were at.
there is also a kitchen if you want to cook your own.
shower not very hot. continental breakfast a bit disappointing as limited variety of pastry and bread.

Regular visitor for short birdwatching and holiday breaks. Always friendly and clean. Close to facilities and station, and local bus stops.
Woken by adjacent shower running for over half hour at 2.30am. Went to check if had been left on, door was wide open but man in there when I called to them, luckily curtain closed. Returned to my room and made sure my door was locked. They should have used shower away from where people were trying to sleep, and not for over half an hour in middle of night and left door open???

Helpful friendly staff, comfortable room and beds, very handy location for our stay. Breakfasts had a good variety and plenty of it.
Some of the fixture and fittings were a bit worn out, (door locks) Warm water came out of both our hot and cold taps. The bedroom was a bit too warm. We are being very picky, we really enjoyed our stay.

Location was quite convenient. One night was good value, but the other night was surprisingly expensive for what it was.
The whole building was cold. Check in was friendly, but then no staff in evidence. Unable to buy a hot drink. Nobody in common rooms. Unsociable and quite an unpleasant place to spend the evening and night. Doors very noisy, banging till all hours.

Location was perfect for our needs, an overnight stay to attend a party at Sheringham Golf Club. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room, showers and toilets were all very clean. Would recommend to stay and would book again if we needed to.

The room and bedding were spotlessly clean. Location, just a 5 min stroll to shops and sea, was great and easy to find. Price was good.
Nothing much. Apartments are basic, which is what we expected. We used as a base to travel around.

Lovely breakfast, especially the hash browns and sausages the young lady chef cooked, great self catering kitchen, Lovely team.
The beds were not comfortable, the not being allowed to drink my own beer with dinner in self catering, the rush to leave to make way for a 'private party' at the weekend made made me feel I was not valued as a customer.

only an 8 minute walk to the bus stop to take you east or west of Sheringham along the wonderful coastal road with views of the sea. the first bus going west leaves at 9.40 am every day.

Check-in system - the reception refused to accept my Life-Membership card as ID although it has my photo on it I found this unacceptable
Check out - I had to leave very early and carried most of my luggage to the car but found the door had locked behind me and the door code from night before did work so I could not collect my vacuum flask and food and had to leave them behind
