The best place for the hotel. Quiet. Nice views. Didn’t even want to go anywhere so booked dinner in hotel. Perfect gateway.

The place is gorgeous. Location and facilities and the views - wonderful. But the highlight was the very kind, sweet, professional and helpful Katya. Always with a smile, always ready to help, our girls also loved her, she made our stay even more special. Thank you Katya!

There were hornets around the pool area, but we noticed it was a Portugal thing, another place we stayed at also had hornets and it seemed only we minded them..

Our toilet door was hard to open/close the owner present the room like that. Also in the shower you couldn’t use the top support for the hang because was broken and no place higher to hang the shampoo , you have to hold it on the floor. Breakfast not continental or either topical/local, only 1 option of each and no much diversity. No internet in the room. Either in the breakfast area even if they say that works. Area of Swimming pool around of leaves everywhere, aspect not care. No restaurant and nothing at all to drink coffee or tea/water after breakfast. You need a car to get a coffee in 15min away. City closest has only 2 restaurants.

Well positioned property in the hills of the Douro Valley with spectacular views. Lovely swimming pool amongst the vineyard. Sadly for the price being charged it comes up a bit short. Adequate breakfast.

Sadly if you are an English speaker you will get zero assistance from the ever present staff who don’t speak English. This is a shame as there is so much information we would have liked to get from them about the pension and area. No WIFI in room No fridge or coffee making facilities which you would have thought would have been standard at the price being charged.
